Navy's Inspector General Refusing To Investigate USS Hartford Indicent, Seaworthyness of Nuclear Attack Sub

The US Navy's Investigation Into USS Hartford ACCIDENT IS MICKEY MOUSE!

Seems The United States Navy's Office of Inspector General sees no reason to investigate the MASSIVE COLLISION between the USS Hartford and the USS New Orleans in the Straight of Hormuz, even though various internet sources are starting to suggest the vessel (nuclear attack sub) is no longer seaworthy, may be nothing more than SCRAP METAL...three collisions now in the past two years (that we know of), the possibility that a Nuclear Attack Sub may now be SCRAP METAL, and the Navy Office of Inspector General sees no reason to investigate? WOW!

This is in response to your e-mail of March 23, 2009 in which you request that the Office of the Naval Inspector General open a fully public investigation into the collision between the submarine USS Hartford and amphibious ship USS New Orleans.

While the Inspector General reserves the right to investigate any matter brought to our attention, we respectfully decline to open an investigation into this issue. The Inspector General is not the appropriate entity within the Department of the Navy to address this matter especially since it is currently being addressed using another more appropriate process.

We appreciate your concern and we are assured that this matter is being adequately addressed.

USS Hartford MAULS USS New Orleans and Story DIES in Press...Did Military SLAP UP EXCLUSIONARY ZONE?

Talk about BLACK OPS...a NUCLEAR SUBMARINE SLAMS into another naval vessel, rips it open like a can of sardines as 25,000 gallons of diesel fuel spill into the Straight of Hermuz doing untold damage to the environment, and almost sinking the ship as sailors RUSHED to their emergency stations in an effort to the stablize the capsizing vessel just in time to save it from sinking into, and potentially blocking the busiest shipping channel in the world! Rumors abound that the repair costs to the USS Hartford Nuclear Attack Submarine and the USS New Orleans are going to run into the TENS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, and no one is whispering a word...hmmmm...was the accident FAR WORSE than we are being told? Has the nuclear reactor onboard the USS Hartford BEEN DAMAGED? Think it is time that the DOD, the Nuclear Navy and the Commander in Chief President Obama show us some of that transparancy we keep hearing about by inviting OUTSIDE INVESTIGATORS to inspect the submarine's nuclear reactor...I am recommending that the President agree to an outside inspection of said onboard reactor by three members of the IAEA. Further, where is the resignation of the Admiral in charge of the Nuclear Navy?

USS Hartford, USS New Orleans Collide in Strait of Hormuz

Two U.S. Navy vessels have collided in the Strait of Hormuz, near the Arabian Peninsula. The USS Hartford, a submarine, crashed in the USS New Orleans amphibious ship Friday morning. No serious injuries occurred, but gallons of fuel spilled into the water.

The USS Hartford and the USS New Orleans ran into each other during the early morning hours, at about 1 a.m. local time. Fifteen sailors from the Hartford are reported as “slightly injured.” They have all already returned to duty.

The Navy says the USS Hartford’s nuclear propulsion plant was not damaged. The USS New Orleans, however, suffered a “ruptured fuel tank.” Because of that, 25,000 gallons of diesel fuel marine were spilled.

Military officials say both ships were on their way into port when the collision happened. The submarine was underwater at the time. An investigation is now underway.

Both the USS Hartford and the USS New Orleans are being brought in for evaluation. Their exact locations are not being revealed because of security concerns.

The Strait of Hormuz

The Strait of Hormuz is located between Iran and the Arabian Peninsula. It is a narrow passageway and is considered one of the most highly trafficked commercial routes for tankers carrying oil.

As is too be expected, the NAVY is mitigating the available news on this SIGNIFICANT NUCLEAR INCIDENT to protect the military/commercial nuclear industry push towards a Nuclear Renaissance...it should be noted, that there is a certain REVOLVING DOOR where former sailors in the Nuclear Navy are moved into positions with NEI, NRC, or at one of America's 104 pathetically maintained Commercial Reactors.
