Relaunch of Congressman John Hall Blog

On some level, all National Politics is local, boils down to our relationship with our own elected officials that we send off to Washington. I played a part in sending Congressman John Hall to Washington, DC and in hindsight regret my decision. I spend a lot of time, effort and money to send a man to Washington who, in my perspective betrayed his constituents. For that reason, and feeling it is time I wade back into the fray, I have relaunched the Congressman John Hall blog to track his career, to let people see how little his does for the voters who elected him. Feel free to give the blog a visit as it develops.

Resurrecting Congressman John Hall Blog

Much Like Disgraced Sue Kelly, John Hall Spends A LOT of Time In Warwick.

For those keeping up on politics in District 19 here in New York, you are familiar with my now defunct Congressman John Hall blog here on Blogger. In a behind closed door deal made through Susan Shapiro I was convinced to take said blog down as it was creating a problem for John Hall. I agreed to take it down when John Hall made certain promises (or so I was led to believe) which have not been kept.

Now, some might percieve such a deal as Congressman John Hall holding out his support and assistance for a price...in this case, the price was the dismantling of my blog which does in some way amount to selling his position and power for a price, offering his help in exchange for something of value to him as a member of Congress. From my perspective, I would not argue with your conclusion, but at the time (September 2007) we needed John Hall's help to close down Indian Point, and I believed him a man of his word, so was fine with taking down the blog. I was sadly mistaken, and do apologize for not maintaining my vigilence where his congressional career is concerned. Putting it mildly, he has sorely dissappointed almost everyone in the Grassroots here in District 19, and in this election year he is sadly the odds on favorite to get re-elected.

One of the BIG reasons the grassroots supported him, was his stand on Indian Point, his pledge to do everything in his power to shut down Indian Point. We believed this former rocker, took him at his word...even before he'd delivered his victory speech (which I was at) he sold us out, racing off to spend a few minutes with his newly found Orange County Hasidic Jew friends before being wisked off by some big burly body guards who huddled around him while he talked on his cell phone behind curtains in the front room of the hall. We knew then that he would not be taking the grassroots who got him elected to Washington with him, and knew deep down in our hearts he would betray us, and we were right.

Well, that was then, and this is now, and the time has come to start tracking this mans career like a hound on a scent...in that fashion, we can have the necessary tools and information to defeat him in 2010.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The Alaska Legislature will work to complete its ethics investigation into Gov. Sarah Palin's firing of her public safety commissioner earlier than expected, weeks before the national election.

State Sen. Hollis French says seven witnesses told the Legislature's investigator they will not provide depositions and canceled their meetings. French, who is overseeing the investigation into whether Palin abused her power, said the Legislature will subpoena witnesses.

Lawmakers say they have put the investigation on a fast track now that Palin is Republican John McCain's running mate. The investigation previously was expected to end on Oct. 31. French says the probe will be completed three weeks earlier than that.

Unemployment Figures Go Up...Only Half The Truth

If you watched the Republican Convention this week, you did not see them talking much about Health Care, did not see them using the word Middleclass in talking to the voters of America, heard nothing about the housing crisis, the devastated stock market, or the millions of Americans out of work. After last nights Change Propaganda on the part of John McCain, we saw the unemployment statistics, and they are NOT PRETTY. For the year we have lost some 600,000 jobs, and millions of Americans are out of work, some of them so devastated they have stopped even looking.

Why are so many Americans out of work...in two words, though some may disagree, illegal aliens. There are between 15-25 million illegal aliens in the country, at least half of them holding down jobs that would otherwise be held by lawful American citizens, or immigrants that are here LEGALLY. Deport these illegal aliens, and you, to a great degree, put those Americans that want to work back to work. Yet, McCain, Mr. Amnesty himself has been mute on the subject of immigration reform and securing our borders this entire year as he has made his political comeback.

Don't kid yourselves folks...well over 8 million illegal aliens made their way into America during the George Bush presidency because he promised them Amnesty, was friendly to illegal aliens because of family ties, coupled with the Chamber of Commerce's desire for CHEAP WAGES...in the meantime, it is us the middleclass worker who has paid the price, and will continue to pay that price if we do not secure our Southern Border with Mexico and taken the necessary actions to deport those who are here and working illegally. Think about it, 6.1 percent of our citizens of working age are now unemployed, and it is going to get worse before it gets better...we are in a recession, perhaps heading to a depression all because politicians like John McCain refuse to do the right thing when it comes to immigration reform.

Reform is SO SIMPLE...enforce the laws we have on the books, secure our borders and other points of entry. You want to put hard working Americans back to work, then deport those who are here illegally, those who unlawfully have taken our jobs and by doing so depressed our wages. This is a presidential election year, many Senators and every Congressman/woman is up for re-election. Go to the public appearances and debates and ask the question. "What Mr. Politician are you going to do to secure our border with Mexico, and send back to where they belong those who are stealing OUR AMERICAN DREAM for their own by working as illegal aliens. Think about it, is it fair that an illegal alien is working, buying a home while you are unemployed and losing your house? Where I come from, that is stealing our dream because they want it for themselves...call it what you want, I call that criminal activity, and our Federal Laws as written agree with me.

Sarah Palin insinuated that Obama was afraid a terrorist meranda rights were being violated, and shrugged it off. I would like to know if she takes the same cavalier attitude towards illegal aliens that are stealing our American way of life? If as she claims, she is working for us, what is HER STAND ON ILLEGAL ALIENS?

For shit and giggles, watched the Republican Convention last night, and got a WHOLE LOT of giggles. Who are the McCain's and Palin's trying to fool here? For starters, lets start with Palin...how many know she SMOKED POT up through at least 2006? Don't get me wrong, I think marijuana should be legalized, but for someone claiming to be a BORN AGAIN, HOLIER THAN THOU CHRISTIAN, smoking pot seems just a bit hypocritical...but then, George Bush was Pro-Life dispite rumors that have him paying for his girlfriend's abortion back in his college days.

Next we have Cindy McCain, she of the wonderful video last night about ALL THE GOOD she has done with her wealth...like the $300,000 outfit she was wearing up on stage? I am sure she SO RELATES to the average American! Found it rather odd that she mentioned the charity she started, but failed to mention the FBI investigation of her for STEALING drugs from her own charity and sneaking them (smuggling) back into the country. She also has failed to tell us what strings her Senate husband pulled to have those charges DROPPED. In short, she was not only using drugs, she was a drug addict committing FELONIES to feed her habit...talk about FAMILY VALUES.

Then we have John McCain and his own affairs...after all, he was known as a boozer and a womanizer in the Navy, which is why he never attained the military success his father did. Funny how in the video about him they mention two of his planes crashes while leaving out the other two where he just crashed for NO APPARENT REASON...could it be he'd been flying after an all night BENDER?

Of course, the biggest laugh of the night, and of the convention is the McCain/Palin Energy policy, or the lack thereof. Drilling is not the answer. Even if we started drilling tomorrow we are looking at 5-7 years before seeing anything coming out of the ground in Alaska, and close to that time frame if doing off shore drilling. Where is the HELP right now in that? McCain and Palin are calling for the building of 40 new nuclear reactors by 2030...here is a FACT...that is an unattainable goal even if you do support nuclear power (which I do not). Simply stated, McCain's energy policy is the same failed Pro Oil industry agenda that was carried out under eight years of George W. Bush. Perhaps Sarah Palin can take the turd out of her mouth long enough to explain where she intends to STORE THE WASTE from 40 new nuclear power plants, and McCain can tell us how he intends to find the qualified employees to man those 40 new plants even if he could GET THEM UP AND RUNNING.

Everywhere one looks there seems to be poor judgement, disgusting family values, and criminal activity in the McCain/Palin Republican ticket...is that the best the Republican Party and their ultra conservative, rabidly religious right wing can offer up? If it is, it is no wonder why their party is in such disarray. Don't kid yourself America...when McCain calls us his friends, you need to put your hand over your wallet, and be leary of losing more civil liberties in the name of National Security.

Time For Alaska Too Release Palin Emails To Press

So, the media is falling all over itself to make Sarah Palin the next media darling as she claims her fleeting 15 minutes of fame...here is an idea...lets have the special investigators investigating Troopergate release Sarah Palin's emails! Apparently, there is far more to this scandal than McCain's people want us to know, and they hope to keep it under wraps under after the November elections. We suggest that Sarah's dirt be dragged out from under the carpet and put on the coffee table in Americans livingrooms. While we are at it, Palin has admitted to smoking dope up through 2006...do we really believe she JUST UP AND STOPPED? For that matter, where is the story on her affair with her husband's business partner. If these things are true, do we really want a dope smoking loose legged slut being first in line to lead the free world?

EAGLE RIVER, Alaska, Sept. 3 -- Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the running mate for GOP presidential candidate John McCain, wrote e-mails that harshly criticized Alaska state troopers for failing to fire her former brother-in-law and ridiculed an internal affairs investigation into his conduct.

The e-mails were shown to The Washington Post by a former public safety commissioner, Walter Monegan, who was fired by Palin in July. Monegan has given copies of the e-mails to state ethics investigators to support his contention that he was dismissed for failing to fire Trooper Mike Wooten, who at the time was feuding with Palin's family.

"This trooper is still out on the street, in fact he's been promoted," said a Feb. 7, 2007, e-mail sent from Palin's personal Yahoo account and written to give Monegan permission to speak on a violent-crime bill before the state legislature.

"It was a joke, the whole year long 'investigation' of him," the e-mail said. "This is the same trooper who's out there today telling people the new administration is going to destroy the trooper organization, and that he'd 'never work for that b****', Palin'.)"

Asked about the e-mails, Palin's campaign spokeswoman, Maria Comella, said that Palin was merely alerting officials to potential threats to her family and that there is no evidence that Palin ever ordered Wooten to be fired.

Palin Family Flouts Law When It Suits Them

The more we learn about the Palin family, and specifically Sarah Palin, it seems their morality and willingness to abide by the law only happens when it suits them. We already know her husband was convicted of a DUI...everyone wants to say it happened 25 years ago, and is not big deal. OK, we let that one slide. However; it seems that Sarah Palin had no problems violating Alaska's fishing laws, deciding she would skip having the proper permits until she GOT CAUGHT...now there is some family values! Further, if the rumor mill is correct, little Ms Puritan right wing conservative had no qualms about getting banged by her husband's business partner! Is that some kind of a Christian value I am unaware of, or was she just being a slut like her daughter?

Her daughter is pregnant, and the party line is that A) she's in love, B) she's keeping the child, and C) is going to marry the sperm donor. My first question...just how old is this Levi character, and if he is over 18 why aren't the authorities going after him for statutory rape? For that matter does Sarah Palin simply condone this man banging his daughter, or instead is she willing to stand up for her principles by filing a criminal complain against Levi? Let me quess, she thinks they are just kids, and is cutting him some slack. The fact that Bristol was contantly in the stands watching her MAN, makes one wonder if Sarah Palin's family values are nothing more than one large charade...a daughter has to have some pretty liberal rules to have enough time to get BANGED UP by her sweetie...that, or the parents are guilty of neglect through inappropriate oversight of their children's behaviors. However, if Sarah Palin really was doing her husband's business partner, was getting down and dirty between the sheets with another man, what would we expect from her daughter?

Now, before some of you accuse me of being a bit too harsh on Ms. Piss Mouth, lets take a serious look at this BOY Sarah Palin was letting her daughter spend time with by looking at his now dismantled MySpace page and some of the values expressed there by this WONDERFUL YOUNG MAN. He makes the following statements on his page:

1. “I'm a f *ckin' redneck.” What a CLASSY GUY...NOT!
   
2. “I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some sh*t and just f*ckin' chillin' I guess.” Curious here, while he is out in teh woods camping, is he getting stoned and/or drinking beer. If you are a friend of Levi's who can answer this question, Washington Scandal WANTS TO KNOW.
   
3. He also claims to be "in a relationship," but states, "I don't want kids." ... great, the soon to be father of Sarah Palin's grandson or daughter does not even want kids, but had no problems getting his dick wet! CAN WE SAY, "USE A RUBBER you redneck moron!

This man/boy's lack of class screams volumes about Sarah Palin's lack of parental skills, brings into question her judgement. She wants to teach creationism and abstinance in our schools, but lets her daughter hang out with a self proclaimed redneck that does not have enough sense to use a rubber. Do we REALLY want her as a Vice President? More importantly, can we risk having her first in line to lead the free world if McCain's cancer claims his life while serving as President?

Have just finished watching the fireworks on CNN, and have to say that Sarah Palin is a nasty shrill bitch. So, after an absense from this blog for well over a year, seems time that I resurrect the Washington Scandal Blog and get involved with the Presidential Election cycle for 2008. Pro Nuclear Demeaning Bitch Sarah Palin Mouth's Off

So we all got to listen to Sarah Palin tonight as she introduced herself to the citizens of America, and around the world...my first reaction...what a SNARKY nasty venomous BITCH! My second reaction...how dare she DEMEAN community activists and organizers! Let's be honest, if the C word fits, then the woman's a bitch, and trust me, the C word does indeed fit Sarah (potty mouth) Palin. I'm not impressed, and would suggest the people of Alaska put little Ms. Baracuda on a leash as she is an embarrassment to herself, and to the citizens of Alaska. Maybe we'll get lucky and Alaska's Eskimo's will harpoon her ambitions by voting for Obama. Putin of Russian might light her...he has a reputation for liking fiery women.

Meanwhile, lets tick off some of her numerous SHORTCOMINGS:

1. Preaches family values, yet has a knocked up teenaged daughter. Maybe she should have had the SEX TALK with her out of wedlock preggo daughter.

2. Says parents of disabled children will have a champion in the White House, yet is willing to let others deal with her own disabled child while she runs off to play politician. Perhaps if Sarah had spent more time mothering, and less time away from home her oldest daughter would not be KNOCKED UP RIGHT NOW. Let's be serious, she has basically DUMPED her mothering duties off on her husband completely in the name of self glory.

3. She wants to drill in protected wilderness preserves, and off of our oceans, while also supporting McCain's desire to build up to 50 new nuclear reactors by the year 2030. In short, she is NO FRIEND of the environment, even if she fancies herself a great hunter.

4. She failed to seriously promote ALTERNATIVE ENERGY and CONSERVATION as a means to get off of our foreign oil dependence, but instead like Bush and Cheney wants to continue lining the pockets of folks like Exxon.

5. Preaches family values, yet her husband was convicted of DUI...but then, so was George Bush! Let's not forget her own hot headed approach to her sister's former husband.

6. She touted the same old George Bush, Republican Party line of helping Americans by telling them they can help themselves.

By the way, were she and her husband SMOKING POT when they named their children? Can only imagine the thought process used in deciding on those names, and it scares me to think what kind of a thought process she would bring to Washington when she was not off on some TIRADE, foaming at the mouth at those who do not embrace her rabid religious beliefs...seriously, the woman wants to teach creationism and abstinance in our schools. You would think a woman who loves sex enough to have had five kids would know teaching children about SAFE SEX has a much better chance of success...her own pregnant teenage daughter makes my point. I'll close with this thought...if Sarah (potty mouth) Palin and the Republican Party feel her children should be OFF LIMITS, then she and they need to stop using them at every chance for photo ops! By the way...is the father of the child OVER 18? If he is, isn't that STATUTORY RAPE?
