Obama orders Treasury chief to try to block AIG bonuses

Barack Obama vowed to try to stop the faltering insurance giant American International Group from paying out hundreds of millions of dollars in bonuses to executives, as the administration scrambled to avert a populist backlash against banks and Wall Street that could complicate Obama's economic recovery agenda.

"In the last six months, A.I.G. has received substantial sums from the U.S. Treasury," Obama said. He added that he had asked Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner "to use that leverage and pursue every single legal avenue to block these bonuses and make the American taxpayers whole."

In strongly-worded remarks delivered in the White House East Room before small business owners, Obama called AIG "a corporation that finds itself in financial distress due to recklessness and greed."

Wanted For White House Duty...PIG FARMERS

Let's make this CLEAN AND QUICK....where are some pig farmers with a few thousand pigs? They can be piglets! Surely some creative farmers can hook up with some Independent Truckers and drop off to OBama 8000 plus pigs...one for each PIECE OF PORK in the Budget that President OBama is about to sign. Imagine the You Tube video as 8000 swine invade the White House lawn, perhaps piss all over the new swing set...swine for a SWINE. Speaking of the swingset...did the Obama family buy that swingset? If so great, but if it is A) an earmark, or B) paid for by a Lobbyist in the form of a DONATION, think said swing set needs to BE RETURNED from wherever it came.

What Would You Do As President?

Several networks and papers are asking citizens the question, "What would you do as President to turn around the economy if you were in the White House?" It is a good question, but one not worth answering as Washington is going to do what Washington wants to do. That said, I have some SERIOUS OPINIONS about what I would do was President.

1. Through Executive Order, or enactment of a law, would instantly negate all trade agreements in the NAFTA, CAFTA genre. These agreements have not been good for America, nor our work force. Further, our membership in the World Bank and the World Trade Organization would be terminated. I would entertain pulling out of the United Nations and asking said organization to leave America. NATO is a far more useful organization for America and our allies, and the money we waste on the United Nations and their Islamic Agenda would be better spent on NATO.

2. E Verify would be made the law of the land, every employer (including families) would be required to verify the legal work status of every employee (both current hires, and new hires). In conjunction with E Verify, all employers would be required to turn over to ICE all contact information on employees deemed to be ineligible for work in the United States of America. In conjunction with local law enforcement, said illegal aliens would be rounded up, questioned, and where appropriate (unable to prove they are in America LEGALLY through presentation of LEGAL PAPERS/DOCUMENTS) detained for deportation without BAIL.

3. Would both fund and authorize ICE and other law enforcement agencies to begin a series of interior work place, neighborhood, and home raids aimed at deporting all Illegal Aliens that are illegally in America. American Citizens and those here legally (legal immigrants) would be given rewards for turning in those in American Illegally...yes, a bounty system. These internal raids would include making the IRS verify that all those with Federal Tax ID numbers are legal citizens or legal immigrants. All Illegal Aliens identified as operating a business while illegally in American would have all their assets (business and personal) seized and sold at auction, the doors to their establishment closed, all phones immediately disconnected.

4. All Federal Funding to cities acting as Safe Harbor/Haven communities for Illegal Aliens would be stopped until such time as they came into compliance with ALL FEDERAL LAWS. This would include IMMEDIATE AND SWIFT ACTIONS FOR BOTH San Francisco and Los Angeles, as well as several major Texas cities including House and San Antonio.

5. Any employers found to be employing Illegal Aliens 90 days after implementation of E Verify would face criminal prosecution, and if convicted a minimum 5 year sentence.

6. All Illegal Aliens deported or self deported would be required to take their Anchor Babies with them. The Supreme Court would be ordered to resolve the cloud over Anchor Baby citizenship.

7. By executive Order, signing statements and passage of laws, illegal aliens and their children would be denied ALL SOCIAL SERVICES, would be denied any benefits created by passage of laws. (IE...it is estimated that Obama's mortgage bailout bill will WRONGFULLY allow over 2 million illegal aliens to refinance their homes at the expense of the American Tax Payer.) Illegal aliens should not have access to services, should not benefit from our stimullus bill, should not be allowed to refinance their mortgages at our tax payer expense.

8. Revoke China's Most Favored Nation trading Status, and place a 50 percent tax on all goods being imported from China to help America in rebuilding America and paying down the debt owed to China because of their unfair trade policies.

9. Based on Obama's promise to balance the budget, would hold off on Health Care Reform...especially when you consider the very real fact that less than 15 million Americans would be left without healthcare if we DEPORTED ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS AND THEIR OFF SPRING. Further, denying Illegal Aliens and their children access to Emergency Care would INSTANTLY start bringing medical costs down, making it more affordable for employers to offer Major Medical as a benefit to their employees. Couple this with what would become an jobs market that favored employees, we would more than likely be able to provide ALL LEGAL CITIZENS Healthcare within our current framework.

10. Finish building the sections of fence along our Southern Border that are already written into law, and seek funding for triple layer fencing and other PHYSICAL BARRIERS along our entire Southern Border with Mexico.

11. End Affirmative Action so that we end preferential treatment based on race.

12. Make all Americans upon completion of High School do four years of MANDATORY SERVICE to America in exchange for a fully paid College Education (up through and including a Masters Degree). No waivers to this rule for other than MEDICAL ISSUES of a significant nature.

13. Cease all funding for any and all groups that support Amnesty/Pathway to Citizenship for Illegal Aliens. Stop funding for any and all groups that aid, abet or hire illegal aliens, or fire legal briefs on behalf of illegal aliens. Simply stated, America needs to follow the example of Australia.

14. Make loans for FIRST HOMES available to ALL LEGAL CITIZENS OF AMERICA over the age of 25 at 3.5 percent interest. (FIRST HOMES ONLY, and if you own a home...even if paid for, you will not be eligible for a government loan until you have liquidated your real estate holdings...this will eliminate people using these low interest loans for speculative real estate purchases. Loans will only be available FOR SINGLE FAMILY DWELLINGS/UNITS.

15. Place a five year moratorium on all immigration to America. Get over it Bill Gates!

16. Throw out of America all corporations that have more than 50 percent of their production facilities off shore. (Think as example DuPont)

17. Pull ALL TROOPS out of the Middle East (including Afghanistan) the time has come to let them settle their differences without America...who knows, maybe China might want to STEP into the void we would leave. At least 50,000 of these troops could IMMEDIATELY be deployed to our Southern Border with Mexico. Secure borders and strong fences make good neighbors.

Protectionist approach...you bet it is. Buy America, Love America, Hire American or LEAVE AMERICA.

Left, Right, Center...Obama's War To Redefine and Own Middle Ground

Lets be clear folks...Politics makes strange bed fellows, and Obama has DECLARED WAR on both the Far Left and Far Right, is trying to own the middle by redefining it, creating if you will a new Hybrid Centrist Politician. The question then becomes, WHO WILL BE THE VICTIMS of Obama's GREAT GAMBLE?

The first victims will be those that sit on the far right, or the far left of the political spectrum...in some ways, in his dream to create an almost Socialistic Democracy, Obama wants to destroy the gate keepers that have kept America anchored. By redefining the middle, and what that middle is, he is trying to portray those on the far left and far right as being so extreme in their politics as to be considered heretics.

A perfect example is the War In Iraq...remember the promise made in the election? Look at how much Obama's message and position on Iraq and making war has suddenly changed. Now his message is all about GETTING IT RIGHT (open ended commitments). How much of the right can he pull into the center with that new message that is much closer to theirs than a sixteen month deadline? Is it enough to give a heave ho to those far left folks that HELPED Obama GET ELECTED...could be, and he seems to think so, distances himself from his promises where the Pentagon is concerned on a daily basis. For those thinking it is the Daily Briefing Reports and reality on the ground...horse shit, look at who his Right Hand Man in the Pentagon is...no more than George W. Bush's own hand picked man, Mr. Gates. Don't think that was not deliberate.

To get health care through, he is trying to do two things...get Universal Coverage through (which the left wants) while presenting it as being fiscally responsible, the right thing to do if we are going to solve the business community's biggest problem in being competitive moving forward. So who pays the price for this new Hybrid Plan. First, a major segment of the Boomers stand to take a Blood Bath with Obama's proposal...IE, my wife as a part of her Union Benefits is guaranteed Quality Health Care for life once she has hit 55. It is the prize if you will for actually being at the SAME PLACE now for 30 plus years.

OBama's plan would take that away from her even after SHE HAS EARNED IT. He will try to force us to accept this price by promising us our pain here saves us our Social Security Benefits...FOLKS, HE IS LYING. Sadly, he will not care. If he can pull this off, he pulls into his New Middle Wagon some of the Political Left, and some of the Conservative Money Wonks that are all about fiscal responsibility...promises and honor debt be damned. To get Health Care Reform through, he is going to rely upon George Bush's politics of FEAR...THE SKY IS FALLING, THE SKY IS FALLING, and couple it with what can only be called the new Hurry Up Offense of politics.

RAM THE FUCKER THROUGH BEFORE WE GET CAUGHT! Don't worry about COLLATERAL DAMAGE, if I can get this new Right, Left, Center New Centrist Boat out to sea before the Far Left and Far Right Unify to FIGHT US, we will have changed politics forever! We will have created a New Socialist Democratic Nation here in America. If you have health coverage, if you are guaranteed health coverage in your retirement, you are about too get screwed at the Altar of Health Care Reform and Comprehensive Coverage as Obama gives a little bit of coverage to EVERYONE including up to 25 million Illegal Aliens and their 4.5 Million Anchor Babies in the name of his NEW DEAL.

Can hear the banshees howling in the wind...Go ahead, call me a lunatic if you will, but look at the new so called PROGRESSIVE AGENDA being shoved down the throats of Main Street Americans...watch as the New Young Yuppie Progressives shape their vision of a New America where the NEW UBER SOMEWHAT WEALTHY put themselves in control, replacing a UBER RICH dynasty with an almost rich, little bit more liberal one! Second Amendment Right to bear ARMS...lets neuter it as many of the middle left and middle right never liked guns anyway, and we can throw a BIG BONE to the far left in the hopes of pulling some of them into the boat. INSURANCE, a million dollar policy on EVERY GUN you own...OH YEAH, that one will do it, a sin tax if you will on owning guns that will bring on board our new boat the INSURANCE FOLKS and their STRONG LOBBY. We are giving them a WHOLE NEW PRODUCT LINE TO SELL, creating new jobs here in America for insurance salesman while taking away Second Amendment Rights for...well, the poor and middle class, but it is FOR THEIR OWN GOOD. We cannot have the disaffected masses carrying around guns now can we? If you are upwardly mobile or RICH, this gun liability insurance isn't going to stop YOU from owning a gun now is it...come on board, get in the boat with us...let's be careful on this one boys, we don't want to get burnt if it backfires. How about getting these bills started ON A STATE LEVEL so we have some cover.

Nationalize the BANKS...no, wouldn't be PRUDENT...instead, lets just make sure we own such a LARGE CHUNK of their stocks that we basically do own them, basically Nationalize the banking industry without doing so, and make the LITTLE PEOPLE on Main Street pay. When the time is right, we'll resell all the Federal Reserve stock to those of us in the know at a REALLY GOOD PRICE. Those of us in the know have already bailed out of banking industry stocks, so we are only hurting those with 401 K's, and they cannot get out if they wanted to.

GOD, it was DEVIOUSLY BRILLIANT to put that TEN PERCENT PENALTY CLAUSE in when we created those 401 K Retirement accounts so long ago! Let them think they are rich, but tie up all their assets so they cannot get to them when the waters get turbulent...love watching Main Street TAKING A BLOOD BATH...who cares if the poor bastards have to work till they are in their 70's? Don't they understand this is the only way we can save Social Security for ourselves...FUCK THOSE BABY BOOMERS, who were they to think they could retire at 60-64 any way? This was all planned...when we were ready, and just before the Boomers start retiring in MASS CRUSH the 401 K and pension plans INTO WORTHLESSNESS by deliberately crashing the market. It redistributes wealth to the UBER RICH Where it belongs, forces and keeps Boomers working for an extra ten years, thus keeping us from having to repay all that money we stole from the Social Security accounts over the past 40 years! If Obama Signs Stimulus Bill Into Law, He Is NOT The People's President

IF President Obama does not VETO the Stimulus Bill as it now exists, he is NOT THE PRESIDENT of the people...a bold and tragic truth, but one that Main Street America must hear. First, the president himself has LIED TO US when he falsely claimed in front of the cameras that the Stimulus Bill is free of EARMARKS...right off the top there is over $30 Million for Nancy Pelosi, and that is one of the smaller ones...another one would give billions to Obama's personal pals in Illinios for a Clean Coal power plant that cannot be built (currently zeroed out). Care to talk about the EARMARK for nuclear power that will rape our environment, and ruin certain American communities?

Lets move on...Lou Dobbs made it official tonight that the Senate/House compromise stripped out the language that would have made it mandatory for ALL CONTRACTORS getting money from this Stimulus Bill to use the E Verify system that makes it all but impossible for ILLEGAL ALIENS to get employeement here in America. It was no accident that said language was striped out, and the blame lies squarely at the feet of President Obama and his butt buddies at the National Chamber of Commerce. That makes TWO STRIKES on this bill and two strikes on the President.

The final straw, the one that has put this bill into position of defining President Obama as both a man, and as a politician is the last one, the proverbial strike three. The House Senate compromise today has eliminated any restrictions on EXECUTIVE PAY...that is right, as of this evening, any protections that would have kept Wall Street and Bank Industry Executives from rewarding themselves LAVISH AND OVERLY GENEROUS BONUS PACKAGES was removed from the Stimulus Package. It's business as usual in Washington DC, the K Street crooks are roaming the halls of Congress, and OBama is ass sucking with the President of Caterpillar International who OBJECTS TO ANYTHING THAT PROTECTS AMERICAN WORKERS, who wanted protectionist language removed from the Stimulus Bill...Ass munching Obama not only has given this Corporate Robber Baron a high profile position with direct assess to the White House, Obama has him flying in Air Force One.

So Obama, what is it...BIG BUSINESS AND SCUM SUCKING ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINALS, or the American Blue Collar Worker, the citizens of Main Street America? Your choice, and you had best choose wisely, as the side you take in how you handle this stimulus bill will decide your presidency, and your place in American History...are you with us or against us? If you are with us, then you cannot sign the Stimulus Bill as it now exists into law. We want E Verify, we want executive pay restraints, and we want the pork for people like Nancy Pelosi taken out. ACTION: Stimulus Bill Includes E-verify Requirement

The House Appropriations Committee made a serious mistake when it approved an amendment to the stimulus bill (the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009) that would require all businesses and other public or private “entities” that contract to receive money from the stimulus package to use the flawed federal Basic Pilot/E-Verify program. This will not only delay use of stimulus funds, but will hurt millions of workers. It should be stripped from the bill.

The E-Verify provision in the stimulus will:
• Harm workers who are either falsely denied work or are targeted by employers abusing the E-verify program;
• Create substantial new burdens for businesses, especially small businesses, at precisely the wrong time;
• Send the wrong signal to new voters that the Congress prefers to play politics by enacting symbolic and ineffective immigration “enforcement” measures over serious and effective economic stimulus or serious immigration reform.

According to an article in the Washington Post, the Pentagon (HIGH UP GENERAL's) created a super top secret plan where they FUNNELED money through the University of TExas A&M to landowners under the guise that these landowners would develop alternative NEW HABITAT for the endangered warblers so that they (the Army and Pentagon) could destroy PROTECTED ON BASE HABITAT playing WARM GAMES that easily could have been held in ALTERNATIVE LOCALS.

You want a reason, one reason why this is wrong, and should be stopped...this environmental raping of Endangered Species Habitat was CHAMPIONED BY THE WORST ENVIRONMENTAL PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES, George W. Bush. Want another reason...the secret payments to some VERY SELECTIVE LANDOWNERS has so far paid out over $4.4 Milliono dollars while REFUSING TO IDENTIFY WHO THESE LANDOWNERS ARE so that the supposed private set asides and habitat develop can be verified!

So, Mr. Obama and his family are feeling a bit of cabin fever after two weeks in the White House, have decided to get onto Marine One and flit over to Camp David for the weekend because they feel CLOSED IN living in a 55,000 ssquare foot home on 15 acres of land in Washington, DC! What is wrong with this picture...meanwhile, Glenn Beck did a very good job of reminding us that Mr. Obama seems to be leading us down a bit of a side road towards socialism that could at any minute make a left hand turn onto Communist Avenue.

Why CAn't Americans See Security of Forces Agreement? Iraqi's Have Seen It

There are some very disturbing things going on right now in America, so it is easy to miss some of them. One of these is the SOFA (Security of Forces Agreement) that Bush wants to get signed and in place before he leaves office...in fact, he has gone so far as to claim the agreement does not need to be approved by Congress...that should ring some alarm bells. However here is the kicker...the citizens of Iraq have seen this agreement, it has in fact been published in Iraq...so tell me, why is it that the Bush Administration will not let Americans see the Security of Forces Agreement? For that matter, why will he not let CONGRESS see this document? If Iraqi citizens have seen the SOFA, we should be allowed to see it...are any of the major press organizations getting a copy of the agreement that was published in Iraq and having it transcribed and placed online?

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. government is refusing to make public the security pact it has signed with Iraq, even though it has already been published in full in an Iraqi newspaper, a congressional hearing was told on Wednesday.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice were holding a closed briefing for U.S. House of Representatives members on the pact signed on Monday that sets a 2011 deadline for U.S. troops to withdraw from Iraq.

Rep. Bill Delahunt, chairman of the Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on International Organizations and Human Rights, before the closed briefing called it "insulting and an after-thought," after the Bush administration earlier rebuffed calls for Congress to be consulted during year-long negotiations on the agreement.

The administration has said it will not seek congressional approval for the deal. It has been in a hurry to finalize the pact, which Iraqi lawmakers still must approve, before the U.N. mandate under which U.S. troops operate expires on December 31.

Delahunt, who has urged President George W. Bush to renew the U.N. mandate rather than sign a bilateral agreement with Iraq, held the eighth in a series of hearings on the Status of Forces Agreement.

He said the Bush administration had turned down an invitation to attend the open hearing, saying it was a "sensitive time." Experts testifying before his subcommittee were forced to rely on an unofficial English translation of the security deal.

"Even now the National Security Council has requested that we do not show this document to our witnesses or release it to the public. Now that's incredible -- meantime the Iraqi government has posted this document on its media website," Delahunt, a Massachusetts Democrat, said.

Why is Michelle Obama's Mother Going To White House, and What is The Cost

Other than a scant mention occasionally in the press, there does not seems to be much interest in pursuing the story line on Michelle Obama's mother going with them to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue...that is rather odd. First, is this a historic first, or are there other presidents who have brought their mother's or mother in law into the White House? What does the law say about this...is there proper protocol that must be adhered to?

As example, who is going to pay for the food that Michelle's mother will consume during the four years that she resides in the White House? Considering the quality of the food she will be eating, would not be unreasonable to place a $50 per day per diem on those delicacies. Over the course of a four year presidency, that amounts to $73,000 just in food expenses...is it fair that we taxpayers have to pick up that tab?

Will Michelle's mother have her bed turned down, her room cleaned for her, will she be waited on hand and foot? If she goes out, or travels will she require Secret Service protection, and if so who pays for that bill. Will she be allowed to travel on Air Force One? Does OBama have to reimburse the government when she does? Will she be allowed to travel with Pesident Obama and/or First Lady Michelle Obama on official state business, even though she has no official function...or do the Obama's intend on giving her A JOB that we have to pay the tab on, and just what is that job...further, what are her qualifications, and where in th forumla does nepotism go to far?

I think America deserves some answers from the Obama's, rather than their staff simply informing America..."Michelle's mother will be going to the White House with them." Notice that was not a piece of news let out DURING THE CAMPAIGN.

Free trade with Colombia is high on Bush's agenda

The president wants to help a key U.S. ally, and getting a proposed deal through Congress is important to his legacy, analysts say.

Reporting from Bogota, Colombia -- That President Bush and President-elect Barack Obama discussed a Colombian free trade agreement in their first postelection meeting indicates its importance to the Bush legacy and his concern for a nation that believes it gets little respect for its role as a key U.S. ally.

Spokespersons for Bush and Obama acknowledged that the two men discussed the proposed free trade deal during their two-hour White House transition session Monday and whether the pact should come up for a vote during the lame-duck congressional session opening early next week. Presidential spokeswoman Dana Perino denied reports that Bush conditioned his support for a Democratic fiscal stimulus package, including help for the U.S. auto industry, on approval of the trade bill with Colombia.

But the fact that the topic came up at all, amid a welter of other pressing economic and geopolitical issues facing the incoming president, reflects the priority Bush attaches to the agreement in the waning weeks of his administration

Thoughts on Our First Mulatto President

Just watched John McCain deliver his concession speech out in Arizona, his wife and family by his side. Looking at the bottom of my TV screen, see the Electoral Vote currently stands at 338 for Obama and 155 for McCain with some yellow states (undecided) still not called. It is official that America has her first Mulatto President. Not trying to split hairs here, nor am I trying to detract from the importance that this moment represents for the Black Community...watching Reverend Jackson in Chicago, tears freely streaming down his face spoke volumes. However, it is important that we as a nation not make Obama a black president, it is important that we as a nation not make him the President of the Black Community. He is America's President, he is half White, half Black, and ALL AMERICAN.

Moving forward, we are a wounded nation, many wounds open, raw and bleeding. Look in almost any direction, and you find a divided populace, a divided nation, and divided neighborhoods as every faction guards against attack. The poor sent the rich, the rich distrust and dislike everyone else, most in the lower and middle class dislike or hate Illegal Aliens, and the Illegal Aliens hate them, while the rich and elite laugh at both as they take advantage of their labors to make themselves even richer than they are. Red states, blue states, conservatives hating liberals, and left hating right. We are a divided nation, and if any one thinks this election, Obama winning the White House has some how changed things, you are sadly mistaken.

How quickly will many of us turn on Obama if he tries to shove Amnesty for Illegal Aliens down our throats? How quickly will many of us Boomers turn on him, and his Congress if he or they try to steal away our Social Security...it is ours, WE HAVE PAID FOR IT, and many of us are willing to fight for what is rightfully ours, fight for our retirement, fight for the security in our Golden Years that Social Security is supposed to represent. Flip side of this coin...how quickly will the Latino community turn on Obama if he doesn't push for pathway to citizenship for some 15-25 million illegal aliens? How many Americans will turn against Obama if he does not step in and save millions of homeowners from foreclosure? How many of us will turn against him if he does step in and save those homes from foreclosure, while offering the rest of us who played by the rules NOTHING?

There is a certain justice in the fact that Barack Obama is half black, half white, the best of what both races have to offer, a man that has one foot hopefully planted firmly in both of these two separate and unique communities. His presidency will succeed or fail on his ability to be the leader of ALL OF AMERICAN...if he becomes the black peoples President, he will fail as president, and it is very possible that failure would also see us as a nation fail.

CNN Just Called It! Barack is President of The United States of America!

It is official...Barack Obama is the President Elect of the United States of America...CNN officially called the race at 11 PM when the West Coast polls officially closed!

Just In On CNN...New Mexico Goes Obama

New Mexico goes to Obama, and that puts him right on the official bubble of 200 as he sits at 199. Popular vote is almost a DEAD HEAT right now! Of course, when you plug in California for Barack, as well as Oregon, and Washington State, this is a BLOW OUT in the Electoral College. You look at the tight states that might tilt in Obama's favor on the East coast such as Virginia, Indiana and North Carolina, and we are talking a whole new Blue State, Red State Map.

Meanwhile, CNN has just made some more projections, and the night keeps getting uglier for John McCain. Obama wins Iowa! He is over 200 Electoral votes! McCain gets Utah and Kansas...he wins the Mormon vote.

Love watching the networks try to keep this interesting...they have themselves broadcasting until 2 AM, and we can all see this election IS OVER!

The Obama Presidency-The Work Begins

This race is over, Washington Scandal calling it early for Barack Obama. Perhaps the advantage of being a blogger, is no one will care if I am wrong. I think, and have called Indiana and Florida for Obama, and think we may see Obama pulling out Pennsylvania and Ohio when the numbers come in, and have not given up yet on either Virginia or North Carolina.

CNN has more numbers after the break, and I find myself moving on, beginning to put thought into what an Obama Administration will be like, what changes we will see as a nation as he prepares to take up residence in the White House.

One change we have already started to see...more black faces in the news media. This is not a good or bad thing, but think the networks have to be careful in their selections. For example, find CNN's decision to have a comedic news show at best odd. If I want to watch Comedic News I turn to the Comedy Channel, want to watch The Daily Show, and Steven Colbert. I go to CNN for SERIOUS NEWS.

Another OUCH for McCain...New Hampshire and its four Electoral Votes will go to Barack Obama. I should not be laughing, but I am! So much for all his Townhall Meetings, and his relationship with the people of New Hampshire...maybe now we can start being fair, giving OTHER STATES a chance to GO FIRST come the next Presidential Election in 2012.

Look for an end, or the beginning of the end of Affirmative Action under a Barack Presidency. Oddly, look for a huge fight when Barack Obama tries to grant Amnesty to illegal aliens, and when he tries to include Illegal Aliens in a Universal Health Care plan.

On the world stage, Obama will go into office with a lot of nations ready to give him, and America a NEW LOOK. What he does with that opportunity remains to be seen. Look for early overtures to Iran, Cuba and Venezuela. YEs, Venezuela...we need peace in our section of the world, and we need Venezuela's oil, and they are a strategic nation to have on our side when both China and Russia decide to cause trouble in the Western Hemisphere which they will.

Iraq...I believe Obama will find his hands have been tied by George Bush, and that our troops are burdened down there through at least 2011, but I am guessing we are tied down there in some significant fashion through at least 2014.

This is a McCain state, primarily because of Radical Right Wing Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions.

ALASKA (3)
Smart money says this is running mate Sarah Palin's state, so it is safe for McCain. Not so sure about that, and believe there is a slim chance this state turns blue. The GOP's two big players, convicted GOP Sen. Ted Stevens and Republican Rep. Don Young are in serious trouble, and the state's largest paper endorsed Barack Obama. Further, this state really cannot afford to back a loser in what has been a very contiguous campaign.

This McCain's home state but it is in play along the fringe...McCain wins it in a close one, but Democrats gain in the House.

This one goes for McCain...call it the Good Old Boy/Huckabee factor.
