Terrorist Attack Pakistan-Bomb Goes off in Islamabad

If we listen to John McCain, we are winning the terrorist war by leaving our troops in Iraq...meanwhile, another terrorist attack has rocked Pakistan as radical terrorists theaten to tear the nation apart at the seams.

Today at Around 1:00 PM (PST) a massive bomb went off in the city of Islamabad in the sector H-11 in the police lines area. Bomb was so massive that it was heard almost 3 miles radius. Several feared injured...

Pakistan lawmakers receive briefing on terror war

ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN (AP) - Pakistani lawmakers gathered Thursday for the question-and-answer portion of a rare private briefing from military officials about the domestic threat posed by al-Qaida and Taliban militants entrenched in regions bordering Afghanistan.

The young civilian government called the joint Parliament session in an effort to build a national consensus on the Muslim nation's role in the U.S.-led war on terror.

Many in Pakistan believe the alliance with the U.S. has increased violence in their nuclear-armed country. The U.S. has shown impatience with Pakistan by launching cross-border missile strikes against militant hide-outs in the country's northwest, where al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden is rumored to be hiding.
