Levi Johnson (Of Palin Baby Fame) Speaks To AP

In breaking news, seems that Levi Johnson has spoken to the Associated Press against the recommendations of the McCain Campaign...on the surface, the big news is that this young man likes Barack Obama, states that the Senator seems like a nice guy....WHOOPS! This is NOT WHAT THE CAMPAIGN needs as they slide in the polls.

Once you get beyond that bombshell, your heart has to go out to this young man, and you have to ask yourselve's some serious guestions about Sarah and Todd Palin. Levi has dropped out of High School to work in the North Slope Oil Fields as he prepares to become a father. He will not be attending his senior year...WAIT A MINUTE. Sarah and Todd Palin are MILLIONAIRES! This young man is doing the right thing, is going to marry the Palin's daughter. You mean to tell me that they cannot find a way to cover things while Levi Johnson finishes High School?

Living in New York, we GET NO ATTENTION from the candidates, have little opportunity to express our views, or our frustrations. In fact, most of the phone parties around here have us calling into other states. You folks in Florida on the other hand are getting a LOT of attention from the candidates being a swing state...problem is, the McCain campaign likes to stage its events, keep dissenting voices as far from the event as possible. Well, if you want to grab your protest signs, and anti-Sarah THE MOOSE KILLER Palin gear, Sarah Palin is going to appear in Clearwater this upcoming Monday! The event is scheduled to take place in Coachman Park, and I would encourage you to be there...Maybe you can get Sarah Palin to answer questions, rather than dance around them. Besides, you know the news cameras are going to be there, and looking for something to cover since Sarah will not talk to them either.

Sarah Palin will hold a rally in Clearwater on Monday.

PINELLAS COUNTY (Bay News 9) -- Tickets to a Sarah Palin rally in Clearwater Monday were released Thursday afternoon.

Debra Buschman got six tickets for her family.

"Because it's a first I guess, having a VP who might be a woman and I have three girls I thought they might enjoy her speak," she said.

Preparations are already underway at Coachman Park in Clearwater where Palin will have a rally on Monday. Twenty thousand tickets were printed.

Scott Johnson showed up to get one.

"I'm excited about the excitement Sarah Palin brings to the race," he said. "It was pretty boring before that."

Does she think we do not fact check, is she even aware of her and her families own words in various limited public interviews? Remember her husband Todd's interview in front of the QUITE LAVISH family home? Earning over $250,000 a year makes her and her family AVERAGE MIDDLE CLASS AMERICANS? When was the last time the average American on Main Street earned a quarter of a million dollars in ONE YEAR? Her Dad owns a hardware store, her sister owns a gas station, her husband owns a fishing business, and thus presumably a VERY LARGE AND EXPENSIVE FISHING BOAT. Her words do NOT MATCH REALITY. Last but not least, she wants drilling on the North Slope...any one bother to check what interests the Palin family holds on the North Slope in light of the fact that her HUSBAND works for BP?

This defines being out of touch. On Hugh Hewitt's radio show, Sarah Palin calls herself "an everyday working class American" -- but the truth is that her family income is $250K and she owns five properties, two watercraft, and an airplane.

They own a single-engine plane, two boats, two personal watercraft and a half-million-dollar, custom-built home on a lake that is worth three times the average of other homes in town. For the future, they also have a 401(k) retirement account compliments of Todd Palin's years as an engineer with oil giant BP.

Sarah Palin is guilty again of overstating her accomplishments...in fact, if you study the situation, it seems her bitchy, snarky, nasty ass'ed attitude may mean her supposed Gas Pipeline which she brags so much about (that exists only on paper) may never be built. You see, she has offended the very people in the oil industry she needs help from to take this paper tiger and give it life and substance. In short, the project she touts does not even exist, the project has not been started, and may never be started. So, her promise that Alaskan Natural Gas is on the way down to the lower 48 is a FABRICATED LIE, something that is not going to happen any time soon if at all. What a LYING, CONNIVING CUNT.

ANCHORAGE: When Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska took center stage at the Republican convention last week, she sought to burnish her executive credentials by telling how she had engineered the deal that jump-started a long-delayed gas pipeline project.

Stretching more than 1,700 miles, it would deliver natural gas from the North Slope of Alaska to the lower 48 states and be the largest private-sector infrastructure project on the continent.

"And when that deal was struck, we began a nearly $40 billion natural gas pipeline to help lead America to energy independence," said Palin, (give us a break you lying, two faced, forked tongue bitch, not one shovel of dirt has been lifted, you are trotting out a red herring) the Republican vice-presidential nominee. "That pipeline, when the last section is laid and its valves are opened, will lead America one step farther away from dependence on dangerous foreign powers that do not have our interests at heart." (a cute little ploy Sarah, but can you tell us WHEN that last section is going to be laid, when the lower 48 can expect so much as ONE OUNCE of that natural gas is going to flow, thus releaving us of our dependence on foreign oil? Further, do you think it is fair that American's will have to pay higher prices for gas because you want to give EVERY CITIZEN in Alaska a OIL/GAS kickback?)

The reality, however, is far more ambiguous than the impression Palin has left at the convention and on the campaign trail.

Certainly she proved effective in attracting developers to a project that has eluded Alaska governors for three decades. But an examination of the pipeline project also found that Palin has overstated both the progress that has been made and the certainty of success.

The pipeline exists only on paper. The first section has yet to be laid, federal approvals are years away and the pipeline will not be completed for at least a decade. In fact, although it is the centerpiece of Palin's relatively brief record as governor, the pipeline might never be built, and under a worst-case scenario, the state could lose up to $500 million it committed to defray regulatory and other costs.

Contributing to the project's uncertainty is Palin's antagonistic relationship with the major oil companies that control Alaska's untapped gas reserves.

Palin won the governor's office in part by capitalizing on populist distaste for the political establishment's coziness with Big Oil, and her pipeline strategy was intended to blunt its power over the process. Her willingness to take on the oil companies has allowed the McCain campaign to portray her as a scourge of special interests.

Now, though, she will need the industry's cooperation if her plan is to succeed, and just this week, her office said she intended to reach out to the North Slope oil companies.
