The BIG Liddy/AIG LIE...His ONE DOLLAR SALARY

We have all heard teh violins as both Congress and the News Media sing the praises of BRAVE AMERICAN HERO Edward Liddy who came out of retirement to try to pull AIG's bacon out of the fire as a SERVICE TO AMERICA...Spot Lights! (band starts up HAil To The Chief) Great Applause as weeping women who want to name their children after the man, some even wanting to have his BABY!

OH MY GOD...what a true American Hero! He came out of retirement to help solve this AIG crisis, and is doing it for ONE DOLLAR A YEAR! NOT EXACTLY, but Congress and the News Media do not want you to know that.

Has anyone read the FINE PRINT on Edward Liddy's CONTRACT? Has anyone asked how much he is going to be paid in 2010 based on the clause in his CONTRACT that GIVES HIM A PERFORMANCE BONUS?

Now, in the minds of many, Mr. Liddy has become the personification of A.I.G.’s disaster.

On Wednesday, Mr. Liddy, 63, the man who was tapped for his behind-the-scenes financial savvy found himself at the center of public wrath of the President Obama, the Congress, and the American public, after revelations that he had approved the payout of lucrative bonuses to the very employees thought to have driven A.I.G. to its knees.

At the Congressional hearing, a horde of cameras and reporters awaited Mr. Liddy, subjecting him to the sort of limelight usually reserved for major felons or celebrities after an unfortunate night out.

But Mr. Liddy, who chatted with protesters as he entered the hearing room to testify before members of a House Financial Services subcommittee, repeatedly tried to make clear that he was not responsible for getting A.I.G. into this mess.

“Six months ago I came out of retirement to help my country,” said Mr. Liddy, 63, a former chief executive at Allstate insurance. “At the government’s request I’ve had the duty and extraordinary challenge of serving as chairman and chief executive officer of American International Group, or A.I.G.”

Mr. Liddy has no doubt questioned that decision on more than one occasion.

Liars can Figure and Figures can lie, and I find it repugnant that you (and CNN) are now trying to get us to forget about the $165 Million in bonus money, trying to tell us to look at the BIG PICTURE. Big picture...

How about, for starters, $50 Billion or more of the money we gave AIG came in the front door, and went right out the back door to BANKS IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES!

Big picture...lets talk about CV Starr-Starr International being set up to be the NEW AIG which has always been AIG...IE, seen how many AIG folks have been hired by Maurice Greenberg controlled companies?

Big Picture...$14 out of every $15 dollars to buy up TOXIC ASSETS is OUR MAIN STREET TAXES. You and CNN are trying to tell us, that in the long run we will or might see a return on our investment! Who are you trying to FOOL? Even if at some future date and time those investments break even or see a profit, WE WILL NEVER SEE A DIME OF IT.

Here is a CLUE...Main Street is tired of the games, and that includes the ones you people in the press are playing. IE...how come you and Rick Sanchez (as example) never do stories about the anger ON MAIN STREET at 7.5 million illegal aliens working while 12.5 million Americans are out of work. Trust me, we see Illegal Aliens as SCUM, not because they are of Latino descent, but because they are A) criminals and B) have stolen and are stealing food from our LEGAL AMERICAN FAMILIES.

How about you coming out and being honest Campbell Brown...do a story on how Obama LIED TO US about the AIG Bonus money, about how the White House wants the Senate to drop the AIG Bonus issue, and wants the press to TAMP DOWN MAIN STREET ANGER. How about doing a story about Obama and E Verify...you know, the one where he had Senator Reid kill E Verify as too many Illegal Aliens would lose their jobs before he and Congress could grant them AMNESTY!

How about a story telling Main Street Americans that we can kill the AIG Dragon by joining together and CANCELLING our business contracts with them in the form of insurance policies, by instructing our investment brokers to divest our 401 K's of anything directly or indirectly associated with AIG.

Start reporting like a reporter instead of acting as a mouth piece for the Obama Propaganda Machine. IT IS US OR THEM, and RIGHT NOW YOU ARE ACTING AND REPORTING LIKE A THEM.

Obama...Where is My 30 Percent MORTGAGE DISCOUNT?

In the latest news from the White House, it is being hinted at that millions of Americans who saw their homes slide into foreclosure could have the government (with our tax dollars) buy their homes back for them from the bank/lending institute at greatly discounted price (30 percent discount is being tossed around), and then negotiate out low interest 30 year loans so that these families can keep their homes. Now here is my question on this proposal.

We have played by the rules, made all our house payments. Despite this playing by the rules, we have seen (because of the mortgage crisis) the value of our home plummet, and we are currently paying mortgage payments 2.5-3 points higher than the mortgage interest these people in foreclosure would be paying under Obama's new plan. Where is the fairness in that? Why should I and others like me have to keep paying a mortgage at full original price, and at a much higher rate of interest while those that caused its value to plummet get a greatly discounted deal courtesy of my taxes, and GET A GREATLY REDUCED INTEREST rate on top of it all that will be made possible because of my taxes.

Does Obama really see this as fair? This takes those who were behind us in the proverbial food line if you will, and puts them WAY AHEAD OF US! Such a move makes us slaves to our now over valued homes and the mortgages on them, or forces us to just walk away from them...is that what you want Mr. Obama?

Who Cares What Bush Wants...Middle Class is SICK AND TIRED of Trade Agreements, Even With Columbia

NAFTA, CAFTA, PAFTA, LAUGHTA...who cares, especially when it is a Bush Agenda item? We are sick and tired of trade agreements that HURT AMERICAN WORKERS, sick and tired of all this talk about AMNESTY for Illegal Aliens, tired of an H1 Visa program that screws middle class American workers. George Bush can shove his Columbia Free Trade Agreement where the sun does not shine. Free trade with Colombia is high on Bush's agenda

The president wants to help a key U.S. ally, and getting a proposed deal through Congress is important to his legacy, analysts say.

Reporting from Bogota, Colombia -- That President Bush and President-elect Barack Obama discussed a Colombian free trade agreement in their first postelection meeting indicates its importance to the Bush legacy and his concern for a nation that believes it gets little respect for its role as a key U.S. ally.

Spokespersons for Bush and Obama acknowledged that the two men discussed the proposed free trade deal during their two-hour White House transition session Monday and whether the pact should come up for a vote during the lame-duck congressional session opening early next week. Presidential spokeswoman Dana Perino denied reports that Bush conditioned his support for a Democratic fiscal stimulus package, including help for the U.S. auto industry, on approval of the trade bill with Colombia.

But the fact that the topic came up at all, amid a welter of other pressing economic and geopolitical issues facing the incoming president, reflects the priority Bush attaches to the agreement in the waning weeks of his administration

How Many Fannie Polk's Before Congress Helps Middle Class?

(CNN) -- Fannie Mae said it will set aside the loan of a woman who shot herself as sheriff's deputies tried to evict her from her foreclosed home.

Fannie Mae foreclosed on the Akron, Ohio, home of Addie Polk, 90, after acquiring the mortgage in 2007.

Addie Polk, 90, of Akron, Ohio, became a symbol of the nation's home mortgage crisis when she was hospitalized after shooting herself at least twice in the upper body Wednesday afternoon.

On Friday, Fannie Mae spokesman Brian Faith said the mortgage association had decided to halt action against Polk and sign the property "outright" to her.

"We're going to forgive whatever outstanding balance she had on the loan and give her the house," Faith said. "Given the circumstances, we think it's appropriate."

Residents of Akron have rallied behind Polk, who is being treated at Akron General Medical Center. She was listed in critical condition Friday afternoon, according to Akron City Council President Marco Sommerville.

U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio, mentioned Polk on the House floor Friday during debate over the latest economic rescue proposal.

"This bill does nothing for the Addie Polks of the world," Kucinich said after telling her story. "This bill fails to address the fact that millions of homeowners are facing foreclosure, are facing the loss of their home. This bill will take care of Wall Street, and the market may go up for a few days, but democracy is going downhill."

My Open Letter To George Bush

Dear George Bush:

Thank you for ruining America, for destroying our economy, for allowing American Families on Main Street to suffer during your administration, and for decades to come. At every step, you worked to destroy Middle America, from your wrongful stance on Illegal Aliens, tax cuts for the UBER rich, to your wrongful decision to invade Iraq, you have done your best to make the American Lower and Middle Class pay for your one sited vision. I like many Americans count the days until you leave office, and I would beg you, beseech you to give serious consideration today to tendering your resignation effective immediately. You are not worthy of the highest office in America, have shown yourself to be the worst President in the history of the United States of America. It is time you follow in the steps of Donald Rumsfield, and leave office for the good of the nation.

Black Friday For Main Street America

The Wall Street Bailout/Congressional Pork Barrel bill has passed, and almost immediately the Dow Jones Industrial Average started dropping. This day will go down as one of the darkest days in American History, will go down as the OFFICIAL START of America's second Great Depression. May every lobbyist ROT IN HELL, may the National Chamber of Commerce fall into disarray and ruination.

Elections Are Not a Paris Hilton Popularity Contest...Palin Is Not Qualified

A very interesting Editorial in the New York Times...partially shared below, succinctly spells out why Sarah Palin is not qualified to hold National Office, let alone be a breath away from the Presidency of the United States of America. The bar set for her was ridiculously low, as if showing up looking pretty, and avoiding a MAJOR foot in mouth moment was enough to give her glowing reviews, and a passing grade. This is not high school where a Monica can get you an A in Algebra , or in the case of Sarah Palin's daughter, pregnant. This is not Hollywood, or some Glam Mag where the one with the biggest hooters, or the prettiest smile wins and endorsement deal, and the chance to be Paris Hilton's new best friend!

My Aunt was the mayor of New Carlisle Ohio, which has a population base significantly larger than the town Sarah Palin was mayor of, but my Aunt would never claim to have the necessary qualifications to be Vice President of the United States. Sure, Alaska is a LARGE state in size, but there is little in the way of real infrastructure when compared to almost every other state in the USA. In fact, Alaska could not financially survive if it were not a welfare state, almost totally dependent on handouts from the lower 48 via federal government handouts. Big deal, Sarah Palin has been governor of said state for about two years. The two things she is most famous for are A) a pipeline that may not even be built which saddled the tax payers with a half billion dollars in debt, and B) Troopergate.

Stop treating our Presidential Election like it's a Reality TV Show, stop acting like the race for the White House is another episode of American Idol.

We cannot recall when there were lower expectations for a candidate than the ones that preceded Sarah Palin’s appearance in Thursday night’s vice-presidential debate with Joseph Biden. After a series of stumbling interviews that raised serious doubts even among conservatives about her fitness to serve as vice president, Ms. Palin had to do little more than say one or two sensible things and avoid an election-defining gaffe.

By that standard, but only by that standard, the governor of Alaska did well. But Ms. Palin never really got beyond her talking points in 90 minutes, mostly repeating clichés and tired attack lines and energetically refusing to answer far too many questions.

National Chamber of Commerce THREATENS LAW MAKERS...WHERE IS FBI?

The National Chamber of Commerce, lovers of Amnesty, Liberal Guest Worker Programs, CHEAP WAGES, a Wall Street Bailout, and against LIVING WAGES is threatening our law makers in Washington, DC.
