We have all heard teh violins as both Congress and the News Media sing the praises of BRAVE AMERICAN HERO Edward Liddy who came out of retirement to try to pull AIG's bacon out of the fire as a SERVICE TO AMERICA...Spot Lights! Now, in the minds of many, Mr. Liddy has become the personification of A.I.G.’s disaster.

On Wednesday, Mr. Liddy, 63, the man who was tapped for his behind-the-scenes financial savvy found himself at the center of public wrath of the President Obama, the Congress, and the American public, after revelations that he had approved the payout of lucrative bonuses to the very employees thought to have driven A.I.G. to its knees.

At the Congressional hearing, a horde of cameras and reporters awaited Mr. Liddy, subjecting him to the sort of limelight usually reserved for major felons or celebrities after an unfortunate night out.

But Mr. Liddy, who chatted with protesters as he entered the hearing room to testify before members of a House Financial Services subcommittee, repeatedly tried to make clear that he was not responsible for getting A.I.G. into this mess.

“Six months ago I came out of retirement to help my country,” said Mr. Liddy, 63, a former chief executive at Allstate insurance. “At the government’s request I’ve had the duty and extraordinary challenge of serving as chairman and chief executive officer of American International Group, or A.I.G.”

Mr. Liddy has no doubt questioned that decision on more than one occasion.

Face it President Obama, the failing grade you have received from the Wall Street Journal (even if for the wrong reasons) is well deserved. The time has come for you to fire Timothy Geithner who is in WAY OVER HIS HEAD, pull your own head out of your Socialist Ass, stop listening to the Pro Illegal Alien Latino special interest, and start acting like a real leader, instead of a self important black man. You want to earn some respect, want to stop your rapidly slipping poll numbers, going to give you a few pieces of advice.

1. Give Senator Reid marching orders to immediately get E Verify voted on and approved. If you think you can sit on it until you and Congress can pass a Comprehensive Immigration Reform, you are sadly mistaken. Even those Americans that have some sympathy for the plight of Illegal Aliens know it is unfair for 12.5 million Americans to be out of work while over seven million illegal aliens still have jobs. More importantly, no Main Street Americans are going to support 300,000 Stimulus Jobs going to Illegal Aliens.

2. We want work place enforcement, want our immigration laws as written ENFORCED. So tell Janet Napolitano to unleash the hounds. Here is a reality for you...you are in the process of earning the ire of SEVENTY FIVE MILLION BOOMERS Mr. Obama, and I don't care how important the Latino voting block thinks they are, they are piss in the wind compared to 75 million ANGRY BOOMERS. We are going to lose another 2 million jobs before we start pulling out of this recession, so if you think we are going to tolerate your letting seven million illegal aliens keep our jobs, you are wrong...simply stated, you are cooking up a RACE WAR Mr. President, and you can blame the Latino Special Interests, as they are the ones that have tried to make this a race issue instead of a Law and Order issue, they are the ones that have tried to label us BIGOTS for wanting illegal aliens deported, have accused us of hating BROWN PEOPLE. Well you know what...if a illegal alien has stolen our jobs, if an illegal alien is keeping us from feeding our children, and if OUR GOVERNMENT will do nothing about it, we have no choice but to protect ourselves and what is ours. Maybe you best stop sucking up to the Latino voting block President OBama, and realize that seething ANGER ON MAIN STREET...that is not a threat, but an observation from someone that lives on Main Street, has beers with those people you INSULT when you say Illegal Aliens are taking jobs we will not do...SCREW YOU! 3. Stop your racist Affirmative Action, Reparations Agenda...that is right, I said it. You march out yesterday and announce the White House Counsel on Women's Issues...curious there Mr. Obama, where is the White House Counsel on Men's Issues? After all, if you even bother reading the news you would know that men are taking the BRUNT of the pain and layoffs in this recent down turn in the economy. Here is another CLUE...SCREW A WORLD ECONOMY! Most Americans could give a rats arse if other nations HAVE OUR STANDARD OF LIVING...especially when seeing that happen means us LOWERING OUR standard of living. Screw China, screw fair trade, screw your belief that Buy American Protectionist actions are not what we want. You may not want that, but you are supposed to TAKE CARE OF US, as in Main Street Americans.

4. Your Socialist Health Care Reform plan...forget about it. Here is a CLUE. Your plan amounts to STEALING HEALTH BENEFITS to Boomers to give to the young adults of this country, to the minorities of this country, and to Illegal Aliens. You want a piece of reality...I, and many of us Boomers did not have health insurance when we were younger either. Speaking for myself, I did not have health coverage until my mid forties. Now that I finally have it you want to take it away, ration what I get? My wife has worked for almost 30 years at the same place, in two years secures Health Insurance for the rest of her/our life, and now you want to take that benefit she worked over 30 years for away? Want to ration the coverage we get, expect us to go stand on CUE to say get a Hip Replacement? I got a better idea...deport the illegal aliens, and tell the young people their turn will come, just like OURS DID.

I've got some more suggestions, but already know you are not listening. First, I am not rich, second I am not black, thirdly I am not a woman, and lastly I am not a Latino or Illegal Alien.

I am writing you to ask a simple question. Why are the flames of racial hatred and distrust being fanned by the Obama White House, the House of Representatives and The Senate by your collective Congressional refusal to pass E Verify. President Obama is wrongfully on record as saying, "Implementation of E Verify would cause too many Illegal Aliens to lose their jobs before we can tackle comprehensive Immigration Reform (AMNESTY)." With all due respect, 12.5 Million Legal Americans are out of work while over seven million illegal aliens have jobs in our American Economy, while Legal US Citizens who are out of work are living in Tent Cities. President Obama Suffering From ButtMunchers Syndrome

As the first 100 days of the the Obama Presidency unfold, it is becoming clearer every day that Obama suffers from a bad case of ButtMunchers Syndrome. We were promised CHANGE, but instead of change, we are getting the same disgusting TAINT from our President that we got during eight years of the failed Bush Administration. Where is the change when President Obama embraces George Bush's lost email position, he backs down on bringing our troops homoe from Iraq, and decides to carry on George Bush's policy on Afghanistan prisoners...torture optional?

Then we had the whole tongue up the arse of Caterpillar situation that contributed greatly to the Buy American language in the Stimulus Bill being watered down, followed closely by Obama's MALDEF MOMENT that E Verify was all but shelved...curious there Mr. Obama, how do you justify telling the American Citizens "E Verify should not be in the stimulus bill, as it would see to many Illegal Aliens losing their jobs before Congress and I can enact Immigration Reform (AMNESTY)"? Don't act surprised Mr. Obama, did you really think we would let you fool us into believing your plan was NOT AMNESTY because you dropped off the word COMPREHENSIVE? Get a clue, it is us (legal citizens) verse them (illegal aliens) and we want THEM GONE, even if you and the Democrats want them as a future voting block.

Let's not forget Hillary's ASIA Marching Orders...Oh GREAT CHINA MASTERS, your civil rights violations must not get in the way of Economic Issues, so go ahead of trample on the rights of ALL TIBETANS, enslave and imprison your dissidents citizens, and we will LOOK THE OTHER WAY as long as you continue buying our government bonds! To accomplish their goal, they are planning to REFOCUS the argument/debate away from Us Verse Them. Illegal Aliens will try to convince the American Public that LONG TERM granting Amnesty to 12-25 Million Illegal Aliens makes since...if you are out of a job, if you cannot put food on the table, do you really care about what some Illegal Alien or his descendants MIGHT BE CONTRIBUTING to the American Economy 30-40 years from now? We are in a Great Depression, and while 11 plus (actual numbers) MILLION Americans are out of work, have lost their jobs, SEVEN MILLION ILLEGAL ALIENS ARE STILL WORKING IN AMERICAN JOBS.

Fact...the real unemployment/under employment rate for American Legal Citizens is actually over fourteen percent. Deporting all Illegal Aliens, forcing those seven million Illegal Aliens out of OUR JOB MARKET would put at least FOUR MILLION AMERICANS BACK TO WORK WITH BENEFITS INCLUDING HEALTH CARE in what would become a WORKERS Job Market as the supply was rebalanced to meet demand. Deportation is the only answer for Main Street American as we fight this crucial Us or Them BATTLE for our livelyhoods!

So what if the President's plan helps millions of home owners that, simply stated, cannot afford their homes, are behind in their mortgages. What does it do for those of us that have played by the rules, but now because of the Real Estate CRASH find ourselves in upside down mortgage. NOTHING! All those future things it is going to do for things like interest DO NOTHING FOR US, so stop the PRESIDENTIAL CON GAME.

I do not like smoke and mirrors, and that supposed $6,000 eventual gain in my home's value does NOT COME CLOSE to what I and others have lost in principal because of Wall Street and the banks CRIMES. By the way, where is our reduced interest loan...here is a clue...banks do not want to refinance us to LOWER INTEREST RATES because we are CURRENT, and they need the money. Where is our YEARLY REWARD for keeping our mortgages current? OH...WE DO NOT GET ONE...why not? Taking On Harvard Graduate, President Barack Obama...Illegal Immigration

Though Barack Obama strikes me as a stubborn man used to getting his way through stealth, deceit or trickery, he does not strike me as thick, nor stupid. He after all was Editor of the Harvard Law Review, graduated high in his class, and has shown himself to be a brilliant tactician. It is these traits that make some of his comments and views on Illegal Aliens completely unacceptable, why I am publically taking him to task in this blog...as an attorney, as the Editor of the Harvard Law Review he understands and knows what an illegal alien is, knows that Pro Illegal Alien Groups are trying to muddy the waters when they say America's Illegal Alien issue is and immigration issue. It is not, it is a criminal issue that needs to be dealt with as such.

In a debate at Saint Anselm College, in typical lawyering double speak Obama said, "We are a country of immigrants. We're also a country of laws. And the question is, how do we balance that appropriately? I am hopeful that we can solve this problem constructively."

DANG Mr. Obama, you must be related to both Dick Cheney and Bill Clinton, because that is a line that Slick Willy would have been proud to make, but stop trying to pull the wool over the eyes of Main Street Americans. Yes, we are a country of immigrants...LEGAL IMMIGRANTS of which illegal aliens ARE NOT. GET IT? By law (we are a nation of laws) those who enter and/or stay in America wrongfully, without permission are classified as ILLEGAL ALIENS. We have already balanced being a nation of immigrants and a nation of laws. America has some of the most LIBERAL IMMIGRATION LAWS in the world Mr. Obama, and the means by which to enter into and live in America are codified into law. We do not need Immigration Reform, we need IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT.

We can solve this issue constructively...we can begin prosecuting those who hire Illegal Aliens, and we can make the use of E Verify mandatory FOR ALL EMPLOYERS for ALL EMPLOYEES, both past, current and future. These two CONSTRUCTIVE ACTIONS alone would see a huge part of the illegal alien problem dissappear. With Illegal Aliens no longer able to steal jobs from LEGAL AMERICANS AND LEGAL IMMIGRANTS, most of them would self deport when they cannot work, and those remaining could be fairly easily rounded up by ICE and the Border Patrol. See how easy that is? Tell me Mr. Obama, with over 5 million Legal Americans OUT OF WORK, is it fair for 7.5 MILLION Illegal Aliens to be ILLEGALLY holding down jobs, working when Legal American citizens are not?

In the same debate, Mr. Obama you made another ODD QUOTE when you said, "We want to have a situation in which those who are already here, are playing by the rules..."

WHOA! Stop RIGHT THERE Mr. President. You are an attorney, you know what a repeat offender is. Every Illegal Alien who is living and working in America is guilty of no less than FOUR (COUNT THEM) crimes against SOCIETY, and in most cases far more than four crimes. Where in that reality do you come off with your statement that ILLEGAL ALIENS WHO ARE HERE, WHO ARE PLAYING BY THE RULES...what rules are they playing by Mr Obama? Further, you said EMPLOYERS HAVE TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE...we agree, so how do you square this statement, this promise to the LEGAL AMERICAN WORKER with your specific reguest to Congress to ELIMINATE E Verify from your Stimulus Bill? E Verify is over 99 percent effective. E Verify included in this bill would have identified and located over 800,000 Illegal Aliens who are currently employed in jobs that ARE RIGHTFULLY AMERICAN JOBS FOR AMERICAN CITIZENS AND LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. Further, inclusion of E Verify would have kept illegal aliens from stealing 300,000 of the jobs this stimulus bill is supposed to create FOR AMERICANS. That is a turn around for the LEGAL AMERICAN WORK FORCE of 1.1 Million people...that puts 25 percent of those Americans now out of work back in a job, recieving a paycheck, paying taxes...so tell me Mr. Obama how you justify E Verify not being included in your stimulus bill.

Calling a spade a spade Mr. Obama, what kind of a dispicable person are you to state E Verify would cause to many illegal aliens to lose their jobs before Congress had a chance to act on COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION REFORM and should therefore be LEFT OUT of a Stimulus Bill...that statement from you Mr. Obama MAKES YOU GUILTY OF TREASON, and there is no other way to slice it. Let me correct you Mr, Harvard Graduated President OBama, and set the record straight for this Hispanic Station.

Over FIVE MILLION LEGAL AMERICANS ARE OUT OF WORK. Illegal Aliens have depressed our wages and stolen our jobs for too long now as the National Chamber of Commerce lobbies Congress for CHEAP WAGES. Well, we are tired of these criminals being coddled, and we want EVERY STINKING ILLEGAL ALIEN VERMIN DEPORTED...they are criminals. This behemoth plane costs $53,000 PER HOUR to operate...so, for him and his wife to have Valentine's Night dinner in their favorite CHICAGO night spot he spent how much of our TAX DOLLARS whisking himself, his family and STAFF to Chicago? Now today we have him leaving Washington, DC to fly to Denver where he will sign the Stimulus Bill, where he will deliver a speech asking Americans each and everyone to tighten our own belts, to make sacrifices to get us through these tough economic times. Uhhh....most Americans are not fond of the "Do as I say, not as I do" messages.

What is wrong with this picture...it would cost the American Tax PAYERS nothing to have President Obama arrange a Stimulus Bill signing ceremony at the White House...instead, we have him getting in a plane with a FLOCK OF REPORTERS (referred to by White House staff as press gaggle) and flying it round trip around 5 hours (in the air) at a cost of $53,000 dollars per hour. Now tell me Mr. Obama what kind of a signal are you sending in spending $262,000 in operating costs on that Jumbo Jet to GET OUT OF WASHINGTON...what kind of signal are you sending to Americans in spending HOW MUCH OF OUR MONEY to have dinner in Chicago, to sign the STimulus Bill in Denver. You sir are a FAKE! Live as you ask us to live, LEAD BY EXAMPLE. How dare you ask us to tighten our belts when you are using Air Force One like it is a TAXI.

If you expect every American to make sacrifices to save our nation, we expect our White House and our President to make some sacrifices of their own...that means PARKING THE JUMBO 747...your's and Hillary Clintons, and let us not forget about Nancy Pelosi and her penchant for flying her own plane as well. Those planes should be used only for MUST DO BUSINESS...CLinton flying to Asia is a must use situation, but come on, did you REALLY HAVE TO FLY TO CHICAGO? NO! As Suze Orman would say Obama, it is time the White House learns the difference between what they WANT, and what they NEED. You WANTED to fly to Chicago, you WANTED to sign the Stimulus Bill in Denver, but you did not NEED to make either trip on the backs of the American Tax Payers at a cost of $53,000 per hour.

Should Murder of Illegal Alien Be Self Defense?

Sure that this article will offend many...I don't care. The question is straight forward, the thought process in answering is not. Should the murder of Illegal Aliens be legal under the guise of self defense in certain circumstances?

If someone breaks into my house, I have the right to take whatever steps are needed to protect myself...this includes if necessary deadly force. By an extended definition, America is the home of EVERY LEGAL AMERICAN. Further, there is little doubt that Illegal Aliens are on some level breaking into our collective home, stealing that which belongs to us...our jobs, our American Dream.

If our government were doing its job, asking this question would not be necessary. If certain Democrats were not trying to stop the building of the border fence, if Congress had included E Verify in the Stimulus Bill, if our laws as written were being enforced, this question would not be necessary.

Sadly, in the name of CHEAP WAGES and Corporate Profits, it is a necessary question for many Americans who are watching in horror as Illegal Aliens steal the bread off their tables. America is our home, and we are suffering an invasion that our Federal Government is REFUSING TO STOP...so, should we as average citizens be allowed to take necessary steps to stop this crime against our persons, including the use of DEADLY FORCE? Ask yourselves...how many deaths of illegals would it take to send a CLEAR SIGNAL that their criminal behavior was no longer going to be tolerated, their presense in our communities no longer welcome, thier stealing of OUR JOBS a crime punishable by death? 2. Small Business Loans for veterans were also shot down...curious here Washington, why is it that you have TONS OF SPECIAL SMALL BUSINESS LOANS FOR IMMIGRANTS AND FOR MINORITIES, but when one could have been put in this bill for just our Veterans you GUTTED IT OUT IN COMMITTEE?

3. Even a FREEBIE was gutted...tell America why language that would have named all our newly built bridges and buildings after those that gave their lives in Iraq was GUTTED...is it more important for you ass fuckers to have the ability to name these edifices after YOURSELVES? Are we going to now have the Sherrod Brown Memorial Fucking Bridge to repay him for RUSHING BACK TO WASHINGTON ON A GOVERNMENT PLANE TO VOTE FOR THE BILL? You people are really SICK and do not even realize it!

4. You people even gutted language that would have given job training TO HOMELESS FEMALE VETERANS, and TO HOMELESS VETERANS WITH CHILDREN...is this your version of supporting the troops?

BAGHDAD — Iraq said today it will bar Blackwater Worldwide from providing security protection for U.S. diplomats because its contractors used excessive force, sanctioning a company whose image was irrevocably tarnished by the 2007 killings of 17 Iraqi civilians.

The move will deprive American diplomats of their main protection force in Iraq.

The decision not to issue Blackwater an operating license was due to “improper conduct and excessive use of force,” said Iraqi Interior Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Abdul-Karim Khalaf.

Green Jobs That Pay A Living Wage

This post is compliments of my newest Blogging Effort, Green White House, where OBama's promise of a new Green Economy is graded, discussed and written about. He said in Elkhart Indiana today that Americans need a Living Wage...well, what is a living wage, and once you know what a living wage is, where is Congress in MANDATING IT? Green White House has thrown out some food for thought on this subject, and it is my hope that some of you will add to the discussion in the comments section here or over there.

Defining Living Wage Is Key To a Green Economy

In Saturday's post it was pointed out to Mr, Obama that Green Jobs are not exactly at the top of the pay scale, are not the kind of jobs people are going to want to fill...low pay and few if any benefits are not the model for a paradigm shift in the American Work Force to a Green Economy, which is what is needed to fully address Global Warming. If Obama is going to create 3-4 million GREEN JOBS, shouldn't we first define what a living wage should be?

We do not need three to four million poor paying McDonanld's type jobs with poor benefits, we need three to four million jobs that a person can support a family with...where is our Federal Government in their efforts too SAVE OUR ECONOMY, in doing the necessary homework to make sure they are creating the right kind of jobs, rather than simply throwing money at companies and hoping they will do the right thing by Ameriuca's work force.

Doing some thinking on the subject, and based on both adults in the family working full time, I would suggest the following components as part of a living wage:

1. Sick Leave-one day acrued for each month of employment, with a maximum cap of 120 days of accrued sick leave. (These days can be used because the employee is sick, or a member of their family is sick and needs personal care.)

2. Paid Holidays-Christmas, New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day,Thanksgiving to be combined with four personal holidays for a total of ten days per year.

3. Paid major medical coverage that includes dental, eye care and a reduced prescription plan.

4. Minimum of two weeks paid vacation per year with a guaranteed climb to four weeks paid vacation with five years of seniority with the company.

5. Looking at the various costs incurred by a AVERAGE FAMILY of four including utilities, mortgage and even our taxes at all levels of government, the average family needs to earn $60,000 a year to live a relatively comfortable lifestyle and cover their bases. That comes out to a gross income of $30,000 per year per adult in the family. To make a long storty short, a Minimum Wage on a National Basis of $11.50 per hour could attain this goal of a living wage with a bit of a cushion to spare.

The Federal Government, our elected members of Congress could make this goal a reality passing a Living Wage Bill, a new workers Bill of Rights. The time has come to do right by America's MAjority, the backbone that has built this nation from the ground up, the true creators of all that wealth selfishly held by the UBER RICH.

So, Mr. Obama and his family are feeling a bit of cabin fever after two weeks in the White House, have decided to get onto Marine One and flit over to Camp David for the weekend because they feel CLOSED IN living in a 55,000 ssquare foot home on 15 acres of land in Washington, DC! What is wrong with this picture...meanwhile, Glenn Beck did a very good job of reminding us that Mr. Obama seems to be leading us down a bit of a side road towards socialism that could at any minute make a left hand turn onto Communist Avenue.

Obama, Be The People's President...No BLEACHERS!

Seems that the ANSWER Coalition is still fighting with the National Park Service on behalf of aaverage Americans. Their goal...eliminate RESERVE SEATING for the rich and elite at the Presidential Inaugurations...they have won a partial victory, and though planning on going back into court, they cannot win a full victory before Obama is sworn into office. That being said, I remind President Elect Obama promised to be the President of CHANGE, promised to make his White House, his administration accessible to ALL THE PEOPLE...PROVE IT MR. OBAMA, show us on Main Street you are a MAN OF YOUR WORD. You can, with your words eliminate ALL BLEACHERS, ELIMINATE SPECIAL ACCESS FOR THE RICH AND ELITE, and make your Inauguration truly an event for the people that is open to ALL AMERICANS on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS!

ANSWER Coalition Still Fighting Parade Bleachers

An anti-war group, whose 2005 lawsuit is freeing up a majority of the sidewalk on Pennsylvania Avenue so that more people can see Barack Obama’s inaugural parade, won’t be satisfied until it gets the entire street.

The ANSWER Coalition (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) was in U.S. District Court again this morning to go against the National Park Service, which controls America’s Main Street.

ANSWER argues that the park service effectively privatizes a public street by giving portions to the Presidential Inaugural Committee for ticketed bleacher seats, often purchased by corporations and big campaign donors.

Judge Paul L. Friedman ruled in ANSWER’s favor earlier this year with a permanent injunction, but he left the question of how many bleacher seats were too many up to the park service. The park service’s response was to reduce the number of reserved seats from the about 20,000 in 2005 to 8,790, according to new regulations released today.

But ANSWER’s lawyer Mara Verheyden-Hilliard, of the Partnership for Civil Justice, said that response is “contemptuous.” In other words, we’ll see you in court. Again.

The bleacher spots are in prime spots, like the White House sidewalk, and still blocking the view of spectators, Verheyden-Hilliard said. ANSWER is still pleased that the park service agreed to reduce the number of bleachers, but she added: “We believe there’s still an unfinished battle here.”

Unfortunately for spectators, the issue probably will not be resolved until next year, Verheyden-Hilliard said. Here's looking toward Inauguration 2013...
