It IS Washington Scandal's Belief That Ashley Todd Is Lying

A story that seems to be getting a small bit of play on the internet tonight involves one Ashley Todd, a phone bank volunteer for the McCain Campaign. She claims that a tall black Obama supporter attacked her, carved a B into her face, thus branding her! It is the belief of this blog after studying much of the STUFF out there, some of which we are sharing here, that Ashley Todd is lying. Further, if we are correct, she should be charged not only with the filing of a false police report, but also with deliberately interfering with the outcome of a Federal Election, and a hate crime.

First, when you look at the photograph of her taken (supposedly) after the attack, it does not all add up when compared with her allegations. The B was supposedly CARVED OUT (emphasis added)...if you look at the picture, the B is first an foremost backwards...not something an attacker in a fit of RAGE is likely to do! Additionally, the B does not look carved out...in fact, it almost appears to have been done with make up. We also magnified the upside down backward B, and could not find anything that looked like the B was carved out, etched or scratched in.

Next, look at her BLACKEYE...again, it looks like it was done with make up. Notice two things of primary importance. Look at the eye itself...there is nothing wrong with it, no busted blood vessel, no red from bleeding in the eye itself, which is something you would expect to see if, as claimed she recieved the black eye because of repeated punches and kicks. Additionally, notice there is NO PUFFINESS, no SWELLING around this supposed BLACK EYE.

Supposedly, the 6'4" assailant put a knife to her neck and took her money...OK, here is where it starts getting really weird. If as she claims this man's intent was to rob her, he would have robbed her by knife point and then left the scene very quickly. Ashley Todd instead claims HE SAW HER CAR, and the McCain Bumper Sticker on it. The man just robbed her in front of the ATM Machine, put a knife to her throat and grabbed her cash...how did he then see her Bumper Sticker, how did he know it was HER CAR? This whole part of the story makes no sense, and more importantly, the whole knife welding assailant does not matched the B on her face...a knife cuts, a knife deeply scratches, a knife causes bleeding which LEAVES a scab.

Still, lets assume that this supposed assailant actually DID ATTACK Ashley Todd...to CARVE that upside down and backward B, he would have had to have GRABBED her face/jaw and held it in place while he carved in his B...that in turn would have left BRUISES...if you look at the picture, there are no bruises.

Further, the alleged attacker who conveniently is labeled as Black, as an Obama supporter, is located in a state that McCain HAS TO WIN by getting out a strong RED NECK VOTE, kicked and punched her BRUTALLY, yet she REFUSED ANY MEDICAL TREATMENT!

Sorry, this whole thing STINKS to high heaven, and somethings do not add up...where is the bank surveillance video...oh, she was out of range of the camera...how convenient. The police FAILED to take pictures of her wounds....how CONVENIENT. She refuses medical treatment after a VISCIOUS ASSAULT, and the police were FINE WITH THAT! Come on, who are we kidding here. If there was a police report, anyone want to bet that the officer WAS IN on this, just happens to be a good Red Blooded Republican John McCain stalwart?

We then find out that she is not available to talk to the press, but might be available on Friday. Anyone care to place a wager on this story?

A 20-year-old McCain/Palin supporter Ashley Todd was allegedly attacked by a 6 feet 4 inches dark-skinned black man in Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh last night. According to police reports, Todd was robbed at an ATM in suburban Pittsburgh.

Todd was robbed at knifepoint and knocked down by a man who then carved a “B” on the right side of her face on Wednesday night outside of a Citizens Bank near Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street.

What “B” was meant to symbolize with? Big, Bad, or Bar…?

Ashley Todd has been identified as the 20-year-old McCain/Palin supporter who was allegedly attacked in Pennsylvania last night.

Todd was robbed at an ATM in Bloomfield and was also maimed by her attacker, apparently because of her political views, according to police.

According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review (By way of Pittsburgh Channel), Ashley Todd, of College Station, Texas, was at the cash machine just before 9 p.m. on Wednesday when a man approached her and put a knife to her throat.

The Tribune reported that Todd, who is not familiar with the area, drove to a friend's house and called police.

According to friends, she is in Pittsburgh volunteering for the McCain-Palin campaign.

Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richard told Channel 4 Action News that the robber took $60 from the woman, then became upset when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim's car.

The McCain camp told CBS station KDKA-TV that the victim is a Republican from Texas.

According to a campaign spokesperson, after seeing her bumper sticker supporting McCain, the suspect said, 'Oh you're with McCain, you're with the McCain campaign? I'm going to teach you a lesson.'"

The attacker then proceeded to punch and kick the victim, before utilizing the knife to carve the letter "B" into her face, presumably for "Barack" Obama.

The attack occurred outside the view of the bank's surveillance cameras and the unidentified victim refused medical treatment after the assault.

In an official statement the McCain campaign says: "We're shaken up by this. It's sick and disgusting."

Governor Sarah Palin reportedly spoke with the victim by phone.

The Obama-Biden campaign released a statement, commenting on the attack. The statement said "Our thoughts and prayers are with the young woman for her to make a speedy recovery, and we hope that the person who perpetrated this crime is swiftly apprehended and brought to justice."

The assailant is still at large. Police tell TMZ.com that all they have is a description.

The assailant is described as a dark-skinned black man, 6 feet 4 inches tall, 200 pounds with a medium build, short black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing dark colored jeans, a black undershirt and black shoes.

"Politically Motivated" Mutilation - Real or Hoax?

Pittsburgh law enforcement sources tell TMZ they have serious questions about the authenticity of the alleged victim who says she had her face cut by a politically-motivated attacker.

We're told there are several things about the alleged attack that don't add up. A Pittsburgh PD official says they are conducting a "thorough investigation" and have not determined if the alleged attack is real or a hoax. But we're told there is definitely a level of skepticism.

As we reported, the alleged victim claims she went to an ATM and when she turned around, a large dark-skinned man took the money she withdrew. She says when he noticed she had a McCain/Palin bumper sticker on her car, he became enraged, knocked her down and cut a "B" in her face.

We're told the woman refused medical assistance at the scene and said she would go to the hospital the next day.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Pittsburgh police are investigating after a volunteer for the Republican campaign says she was attacked by a mugger who became enraged after seeing a John McCain bumper sticker on her car last night.

According to police, Ashley Todd, 20, said she was robbed at an ATM at the corner of Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street in the Bloomfield area around 9 p.m. Wednesday after leaving a Republican phone bank.

Todd told police that the suspect, described only as a dark-skinned African-American man about 6'4", stole $60 from her and became enraged after seeing a bumper sticker supporting Republican Presidential Candidate John McCain on her car.

Todd, who is from Texas, said the suspect put a knife to her neck and demanded money.

Todd told police that the man became very angry after noticing the McCain sticker on her car and began punching and kicking her.

After repeatedly hitting, kicking and threatening her, Todd told police that the man carved a "B" in her cheek.

According to the police report, the officer confirmed that he "observed the wound on the right side of [her] face.

Todd declined immediate medical attention last night but said she would go to the hospital today.

The suspect ran off after the attack; but police are hoping that footage from bank surveillance camera may help lead them to the suspect.

In an official statement the McCain campaign says: "We're shaken up by this. It's sick and disgusting."

Meanwhile, late this afternoon, the Obama-Biden campaign released a statement, saying: "This is a horrendous act of violence. Our thoughts and prayers are with the young woman for her to make a speedy recovery, and we hope that the person who perpetrated this crime is swiftly apprehended and brought to justice."

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― She calls it a political attack -- a McCain campaign volunteer says she was attacked in Bloomfield.

Ashley Todd, 20, claims it all happened because she supports Sen. John McCain in the presidential race.

Todd claims she was robbed at knife point then roughed up.

Patrick Graham, the president of College Republicans in Pittsburgh, told KDKA that Todd works for the National College Republican Committee.

She's been in Pittsburgh about a week.

Graham said Todd was on her way to meeting, when she reported robbery and assault took place.

"It's a disgusting act of violence," said Graham, "almost like a hate crime, because she was basically attacked because solely because of her political belief, and no other reason."

Todd is a 20-year old Texas woman, a volunteer for the McCain-Palin campaign, who told police she was robbed and attacked by a man in Bloomfield.

A police report states that Todd said the incident occurred around 9 p.m. Wednesday night near an ATM.

Todd said she made her ATM withdrawal and was approached from behind by a man who put a knife to her neck and demanded money.

She said she gave him $60 and managed to step away from the robber.

But, then Todd claimed the mugger spotted a McCain sticker on her car, and became angry.

She said she was punched in the back of the head, knocked to the ground and the man etched the letter "b" on the right side of her face.

Among other things, police are checking security cameras in the neighborhood to see what, if anything, they may have recorded.

A photo obtained by the Drudge Report website showed Todd after the alleged assault.

However, we could not verify the authenticity of the photo.

Pittsburgh Police did not take a photo of the woman.

The McCain-Palin campaign released a statement that said, in part, they were shaken up by the incident – calling it sick and disgusting.

A spokesman confirmed both McCain and Palin called Todd to express their concern.

An Obama-Biden campaign statement said: "Our thoughts and prayers are with the young woman, for her to make a speedy recover... and we hope that the person who perpetrated this crime is swiftly apprehended, and brought to justice."

Todd said she wasn't ready yet to talk publicly about what happened but she may have something to say on Friday.

I lay this at the feet of the mainstream media. For weeks they have cooked up tales about Republican verbal violence. They let Barack Obama get away with claiming someone called for killing him at a Sarah Palin rally -- an outright lie that the media let get by.

This morning, Jim Galloway, a friend in Georgia and reporter at the AJC, put up a post at the AJC Political Insider blog about a campaign staffer to a local Republican state senator. The staffer was worried about violence on election night. Left wing bloggers blew this up into a big deal because the kid used his campaign account. Naturally, this must be a Republican Senator whipping up hostility. Never mind that the Republican Senator in question is out of the country.

But Jim, in his report, went on to write, "Speaking of reining in some out-of-bounds behavior, take a look at the YouTube clip below, showing a Oct. 21 confrontation with Barack Obama supporters at a Sarah Palin rally in Nevada.

"In the video, Palin supporters shout, “Vote McCain not Barack Hussein, Vote McCain not Barack Hussein.”

Now there is nothing per se wrong about Jim writing that. It is perfectly acceptable and a fact that this happened. But the media narrative has become one that highlights the hostile words of Republicans and downplays the hostile acts of Obama supporters. And note that these were Obama supporters disrupting a Palin rally. What gets flagged is the Palin supporters' response.

Words versus actions. How many news outlets have covered the Obama supporters trying to block Sarah Palin's motorcade? How many news outlets covered the vandalism of Senator Norm Coleman's property? Compare that to how many covered the words spoken at a Palin rally that allegedly foment hostility toward Barack Obama.

Today there is a new, more violent twist. A McCain supporter, a 20 year old college Republican volunteer, was savagely attacked by a Barack Obama supporter in Pennsylvania. She was at an ATM getting money. He saw the McCain sticker on her car, robbed her, and carved a "B" into the side of her face.

John McCain lost his temper with reporters today, got angry that everyone wanted to ask questions about Sarah Palin's wardrobe...he fumed that the Press was treated her differently, wanted to know about her wardrobe because she is a WOMAN...no, we are interested in and upset about her wardrobe because the National Republican Committee spent over $150,000 on her wardrobe. It's about the fact that the National Republican Committee spent another $6,000 buying Todd Palin top shelf suits. We are interested, because this kind of a Palin's Gone Wild shopping spree runs completely contrary to the Joe The Plumber gimmick you have been trying to run with now for a week.

On other news...the Presidential Race is over! The fat lady has sung, and every poll that counts had John McCain down for the count in a TKO. Want proof...quietly McCain has pulled commercials, reduced spending in New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Colorado! The major networks know this, but are trying to keep us interested and on edge through Election Night...forget it....the only thing to watch come Election Night is the Democratic run at 60 Senate seats.

Is Sarah Palin Hiding Herpes? Make your Health Records Public

Yesterday Sarah Palin FUDGED on the issue of releasing her Health Records, speaking like she would, then suddenly dashing hopes by saying, "...IF THEY ARE RELEASED". This got me to wondering what could be so devastating to Sarah Palin that she would risk scorn and contempt rather than make records public that everyone else in this Presidential Campaign has.

We all know she is a bit WHACKED in the head, could easily play the part of a dumb blond, so surely she would care less if some special needs mental/emotional counseling were in her past. With five kids, there is a good chance she has had a tummy tuck, and maybe some serious liposuction, but again that would not keep her health records private. However, what if the mother of a child carrying a bastard child, the woman who holds herself up as the pillar of upright, conservative Pentacostal Christian values has a SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASE, is hiding her INNER SLUT? Further, what if SHE HAS HERPES, but Todd does not...where did she get said HERPES, could it be that rumored affair we have heard about with Todd's business partner? So many questions, and all could be put to rest if she were to RELEASE HER RECORDS.

The only other thing she could be hiding that could be far worse, would be bruises and injuries that suggest Todd beats or has beaten her in the past. So come on Sarah Palin...as you can see, our imaginations are probably far worse than anything that might be lurking in those records.

Scooping So Called Newscasters Like Rick Sanchez

One of my primary gripes in life, is stations claiming they are 24 hour a day news sources, when in reality they do nothing more than put up reruns for 22 hours a day...it has gotten so bad, that the Anderson Cooper's of the world pretend they are doing an exclusive interview with someone that delivered the same CANNED answers to another CNN reporter a few hours earlier.

One reporter that GRATES my ass is Rick Sanchez...talk about someone that does not deserve their own show. I find his whole in your face support of Illegal Aliens repugnant, and do not appreciate him trying to make at least one hour of CNN News bilingual hour. This is America...if you cannot learn to read, write and speak English, you do not belong here, and we do not need the likes of Rick Sanchez trying to force feed us Spanish for an hour a day, do not need his breaking into Spanish Stations to bring us breaking news that he interprets for us.

Further, not overly fond of this man's FAKE THEATRICS...IE...today he did this breaking news story about gunmen at Western Kentucky University, showa us (supposedly) the CNN chopper in the air RACING TOWARDS the University. High DRAMA, Rick Sanchez ahead of the curve on a FAST BREAKING STORY...not exactly. I picked up the phone, made a couple calls onto Campus and got the skinny on the story that Rich Sanchey was blowing up far bigger than it was! I sent him a Twitter with the link to my site that gave him the answers he was wanting...funny how the story SUDDENLY DIED, his CHOPPER in the air vanishing into the mists. His supposed LIVE VIEWER COMMENTS...give us a break, you can see his crew up on Twitter hours ahead BEGGING us to get our streams into him...what is FRESH about that?

So my question...do we as bloggers have a duty to SCOOP news reporters to keep them at least a little honest? Should we race to get ahead of the curve so we can break the story, show America it's not as BIG as certain news reporters would have us believe? WKU STUDENTS QUESTIONED IN FIGHTS ON CAMPUS

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Five Western Kentucky University students are being
questioned in connection with two altercations on Wednesday.

WKU’s emergency notification system was activated after WKU Police
received reports of incidents at the South Campus building on Nashville
Road and in the Poland Hall parking lot on the southern end of the main
campus.

Students, faculty and staff were advised about 12:30 p.m. to remain
indoors until the all clear was issued about 3 p.m.

All afternoon and evening classes on the main campus and at WKU’s
Bowling Green Community College (South Campus) were canceled.

The South Campus building was evacuated just before noon following
reports of the first incident. WKU Police, Bowling Green Police, Warren
County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police searched the building
and premises.

As police were clearing the South Campus building, WKU Police received a
report of another incident on the southern end of the main campus.

In both incidents, there were initial reports of shots being fired.
Police have found no evidence of weapons being used in either incident.

“While this was an unfortunate incident, we are extremely pleased with
the cooperation and assistance we received from city, county, state and
federal agencies,” said Howard Bailey, vice president for Student
Affairs at WKU.

WKU used its emergency notification system to alert the campus community
about the incidents and to sound the all-clear.

“We acted in the best interest of our campus family with the information
we had at the time,” Bailey said. “We are happy that the incident proved
to be less serious than original reports indicated.”

An investigation is underway and police are continuing to interview
numerous witnesses. Updates will be posted on WKU’s website, www.wku.edu.

four individuals have been taken into custody for questioning. A news

Police are investigating

Unconfirmed report of shots fired, a press release expected soon. He has been advised to remain inside until the coast is clear signal is given...which would tend to support Rick Sanchez's reports on CNN, though Bob refused to confirm or deny that a Police Tactical Unit was on campus, or that they were looking for multi armed men.

On protection of students...I did speak to one student on campus randomly...they were NOT AWARE of any of this.

Just got off the phone with one Claire S. McGill who is Genesco Corporation's Media Contact. First, she promised to mail out their company Press Release to me immediately, and it is extremely light on content and substance considering teh severity of the situation. More importantly, she FLAT OUT REFUSED to answer a straight forward question that I put to her:

"Are your cash registers used at stores such as Journey PRE-PROGRAMMED before being shipped to the stores?" I asked this question three times, and three times she said she would not answer, had NO COMMENT. Seems a fairly straight forward question that goes to the HEART of the reciept that was printed out with a RACIAL SLUR! You see, it has been alleged that the Racial Slur was one of several choices pre-programmed into the machine. If that statement is true, simply terminating an employee stupid enough to select the racial slur to identify the customer is not really the issue.

Let us leave no doubt about it, when it comes to spending money, when it comes to earmarks that benefit her, her family and her friends, Sarah Palin is Queen of The Hooker's Ball, a Money Whore without comparison. Today, everyone is buzzing about billing the state for her daughters travel (76 tickets in 18 months!) and out of town expenses. Keep in mind, this DOES NOT COUNT additional travel she accepted as GIFTS while Governor! I think it is time that America start taking a serious look at this money slut and her outrageous record of largesse.

First, we have Sarah Palin the Hockey Mom and Mayor of Wasilla...we know she is a hockey Mom who raised a Hockey Slut (see knocked up daughter who spread her legs for the first puck that was shot in her direction). Against the objections of the city, she rammed through approval to build a Recreational/Sports Rink on land the city did not even own, thus leaving the town pegged with a $20 Million Dollar DEBT. She wanted the rink for her and her friends, wanted her daughter to have a warm place in which to drool over boys, and got it.

As Mayor, Sarah Palin also billed the city for a yearly Ear Mark trip to Washington, DC.

We all know her BRAG about the jet she put on EBay...true, she put it on EBAy, but actually sold the plane privately for a LOSS. Further, if you look at Sarah Palin's own travel, the travel she billed the state for her children, and you suddenly have to wonder about the wisdom of selling that jet in the first place. But, let's move on.

Sarah Palin was for the Bridge to Nowhere before she was against it, but still authorized the state to spend $24 Million of EAR MARKED funds to build the Road to Nowhere.

Next, we have the Second Bridge to Nowhere project. Simply stated, Sarah Palin wants an earmarked for twice as much money ($600 Million) to build a Second Bridge to Nowhere that would actually end up in WASILLA! The state of Alaska has already spent $42 Million in Ear Mark money to STUDY Sarah's plan.

Today we find out that the National Republican Party has spent over $150,000 on a Sarah Palin family shopping spree...almost $80,000 at Neiman Marcus as example. Over $5,000 in hair styling. Now we have the Republican Party and Sarah Palin trying to spin this story, to justify the LAVISH wardrobe of Sarah Palin and her family.

Problem is, Sarah Palin has a habit of living LARGE on the public dollar. As example, in her first year as Governor, Sarah Palin spent most of her time (2/3rds of year) working from home so that she could spend time with her kids, rather than commute the one hour into Anchorage. That sounds fine on the surface, until you realize she BILLED THE STATE Per Diem charges of almost $18,000 FOR STAYING HOME! That amount of Per Diem would pay my ENTIRE MORTGAGE for a YEAR!

She steered money from the state to help pay for her husband Todd's Ididerod expenses, and billed the state for travel expenses to GO WATCH HER HUSBAND.

She spent tens of thousands of dollars in state funds to REDECORATE her Governor's Office, even though she hardly ever uses it.

Simply stated, the city of Wassila could not afford her tenure as Mayor, the state of Alaska cannot afford her tenure as Governor, and looking at her spending habits, we DAMN SURE CANNOT AFFORD HER tenure on the National Stage.

In Breaking news, authorities have decided to go along with a COVER UP, rather than A) ruin the lives of seven RACIST Western Carolina University students, and B) release the racially charged pictures of the Black Bear doned in Obama Campaign signs.

According to the AP story, the students randomly grabbed Political Campaign signs to keep blood off the bed of their Pick Up Truck...LIAR...in fact, FUCKING LIAR!

Officials said seven Western Carolina University students were involved, and possible charges are being discussed with the local prosecutor.

" That sentence if factual correct, instead of being written to seek sympathy for those not deserving of it might read, "...some of them unable to cross the border because of criminal investigations or immigration trouble from when they as illegal aliens were caught and deported, exchange kisses, make plans to smuggle loved ones back across the border again in violation of law, share tamales and news through small gaps in the tattered chain-link fence, and sometimes pass illegal drugs to their state side family members to sell on the black market.

Friendship Park is about to become a distant memory because Homeland Security is going to put up a proper BORDER FENCE, and a steal mesh no man's land on the US side to keep out illegal aliens and drug smugglers. Some (those dating or married to criminals and illegal aliens) are upset...GET OVER IT, and who cares. IMPERIAL BEACH, California: At a time of tumult over immigration, with illegal workers routed from businesses, record levels of deportations, border walls getting taller and longer, Friendship Park here has stood out as a spot where international neighbors can chat easily over the fence.

Or through it, anyway. Families and friends, some of them unable to cross the border because of legal or immigration trouble, exchange kisses, tamales and news through small gaps in the tattered chain-link fence. Yoga and salsa dancing, communion rites, protest and quiet reflection all transpire in the shadow of a stone obelisk commemorating the area where Mexican and American surveyors began demarcating the border nearly 160 years ago after the war between the countries.

"It's hard to see each other, to touch," said Manuel Meza, an American citizen sharing coffee and lunch through the fence with his wife, who was deported and now drives three hours for regular visits at the fence. "It's strange, but our love is stronger than the fence."

But in a sign of changing times, new border fencing that the Department of Homeland Security is counting on to help curtail illegal crossings and attacks on Border Patrol agents will slice through the park, limiting access to the monument and fence-side socializing.

In addition to the fence, a second, steel mesh barrier will line the border for several yards on the United States side, creating a no-man's land intended to slow or stop crossings.

Yet, we have Leila Tvedt the ASSOCIATE VICE CHANCELLOR, a SUPPOSEDLY EDUCATED WOMAN claiming to the press, "We cannot speculate on the motives"...my ASS Ms. Leila Tvedt, you know EXACTLY WHAT THE MOTIVE IS, and the campus does not have the BALLS to SPELL IT OUT! Let me take a guess...some in your community still think it is OK to use phrases such as, "Who does that uppidity negro think he is"? Or do you think your campus is exhibiting tolerance is being accepting of views that don't necessarily match those held by your staff, or the college?

Dead bear covered with Obama signs found at school
police at Western Carolina University and wildlife officials were investigating the discovery early Monday of a dead bear cub draped with a pair of Barack Obama campaign signs.

Leila Tvedt, associate vice chancellor for public relations, said Monday night that maintenance workers found the 75-pound bear cub shot to death in front of the school's administration building at the entrance to campus. The Obama yard signs were stapled together and placed over the bear's head, Tvedt said.

The bear had been shot in the head, Tvedt said.

"Western Carolina University deplores the inappropriate behavior that has led to this troubling incident," Tvedt said. "We cannot speculate on the motives of the people involved nor who those people might be. Campus police are cooperating fully with authorities to investigate this matter."

University police called in state Wildlife Resources officials to remove the body and help in the investigation.

The Republican National Committee appears to have spent more than $150,000 to clothe and accessorize vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and her family since her surprise pick by John McCain in late August.

According to financial disclosure records, the accessorizing began in early September and included bills from Saks Fifth Avenue in St. Louis and New York for a combined $49,425.74.

The records also document a couple of big-time shopping trips to Neiman Marcus in Minneapolis, including one $75,062.63 spree in early September.

The RNC also spent $4,716.49 on hair and makeup through September after reporting no such costs in August.

Gee, Marshalls and Target are too good for Mrs. Joe Six Pack?

Gov. Sarah Palin charged the state for her children to travel with her, including to events where they were not invited, and later amended expense reports to specify that they were on official business.

The charges included costs for hotel and commercial flights for three daughters to join Palin to watch their father in a snowmobile race, and a trip to New York, where the governor attended a five-hour conference and stayed with 17-year-old Bristol for five days and four nights in a luxury hotel.

In all, Palin has charged the state $21,012 for her three daughters' 64 one-way and 12 round-trip commercial flights since she took office in December 2006. In some other cases, she has charged the state for hotel rooms for the girls.

Alaska law does not specifically address expenses for a governor's children. The law allows for payment of expenses for anyone conducting official state business.

I watch a LOT OF NEWS, and something is a foot that is foul, and it appears that the major news networks are trying to lay down a palatable smoke screen to allow John McCain to steal the White House. UNITED NATIONS - John McCain's U.S. presidential election campaign has solicited a financial contribution from an unlikely source -- Russia's U.N. envoy -- but a McCain spokesman said on Monday it was a mistake.

In the letter, McCain urged Russia's U.N. Ambassador, Vitaly Churkin, to contribute anywhere from $35 to $5,000 to help ensure McCain's victory over Democratic rival Sen. Barack Obama, currently ahead in voter preference polls.

"If I have the honor of continuing to serve you, I make you this promise: We will always put America -- her strength, her ideals, her future -- before every other consideration," McCain assured Churkin.

Moscow's mission to the United Nations issued a terse statement on the Republican presidential candidate's letter, saying that the Russian government and its officials "do not finance political activity in foreign countries."

Black Bear Story Update

Something is strange in Denmark...or in the case of the Back Bear Story, Western Carolina University. According to Bill Studenc with Public Affairs at the college, this incident is being handled by Campus Police, though the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the Secret Service have been advised of the situation.

Chief Tom Johnson has a few leads he is following in the case, but no other details are being released.

1. A Black Bear was shot in the head.

2. Bear was adorned with Obama Campaign posters, and left on the quad of a major campus.

Shouldn't this be handled by SOME REAL POLICE? Where is the FBI? Where is the Secret Service?

Could it be, that the University is more worried about its image than getting to the bottom of a very serious threat, a very serious example of hate speech? Or instead, is this section of North Carolina so Republican that they consider it a harmless prank? OH GEE...A bear cub shot in the head and left here with Obama Posters...that is SO CUTE, boys will be boys! The Secret Service and FBI should be all over this case. Instead, how much evidence was destroyed by just having the Department of Wildlife show up to simple get rid of a dead animal.

Americans are supposed to have the right to peaceful assembly, have the right to peacefully protest...apparently, Gestapo Police Officers in towns like Colorado Junction disagree, are willing to step outside the law, use ruthless force in keeping protesters from slowing down Sarah Palin's motorcade. Speak and opposing view, have rogue officers of the law brutally gang tackling you, using the old injure now, ask questions later mentality of leaders like Adolph Hitler. WOW....just saw a short video on CNN, and it seems that the police in Colorado seriously MANHANDLED Peaceful Protestors! We are talking BODY TACKLES HERE...even more disturbing....the police have said they BODY TACKLED the protestors, as Sarah Palin's motorcade would not have stopped, would have literally RUN RIGHT OVER SAID PRORESTORS! Though no one has been arrested, it is still an active investigation...hello, I watched the BRUTTISH FUCKING PIGS tackled INNOCENT PROTESTORS! Do civilians have to start carrying their own tasers to defend themselves against these unwarranted attacks?

As a side not to this unwarranted attack on peaceful protestors, it would seem that those so called Real Americans, those Pro Americans do not want that skank assed bitch Sarah Palin in their town either! As for the cops...they should be dismissed, and charged with criminal assault and battery!

Black Bear Hate Murder

Apparently...my own guess...The folks at Western Carolina University are more interested in protecting their Campus reputation, and their students than getting to the bottom of a hate crime. A call to Campus Security gleaned little information from Operator 173 who said he would be happy to have Public Affairs contact me in the AM. Here is what was not learned, and surmised:

1. Operator 173 would not confirm or deny that the deceased bear was a black bear, or a brown bear.

2. Opeartor 173 would not say confirm or deny that the Secret Service had been called in...best that could be gained was a "I don't think so." Even though a Mr. Johnson has admitted the incident was meant to DRAW ATTENTION to the election.

Which begs a few questions...why wasn't the crime scene protected and preserved until both Secret Service and the FBI could arrive. Were the campaign signs handled in such a fashion as to preserve finger prints that might have been on them? Did the university even contact their own LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT? Exactly what is being done to get to the bottom of this hate crime, and potential threat against Presidential Candidates?

A black bear cub has been found DEAD, a bullet shot through its head...even more disturbing, the body was found covered with two Obama campaign signs that had been stapled together. Seems that the Campus Police have called in the Department of Wildlife Resources to investigate the incident which occured on the campus of Western Carolina University in North Carolina!

Let me get this straight...a dead black bear, a bullet shot through the head is found with TWO OBAMA posters covering its body, and campus security DOES NOT CALL IN THE SECRET SERVICE? Are you FUCKING Crazy? This is not a deer poached out of season, or a bear improperly bagged...this is a hate incident, perhaps could be seen as a threat against the future President of the United States of America! UPDATE...apparently the signs were TAPED to the bear, not stapled, and that another sign had been used to make the bear a hat. Meanwhile, some in the local community are wanting to write this incident off as a PRANK (albiet a sick one).

CULLOWHEE - Police at Western Carolina University say a dead bear cub was found dumped on the campus draped with a pair of Barack Obama campaign signs.

The Asheville Citizen-Times reported that Tom Johnson, chief of university police, said maintenance workers reported about 7:45 a.m. Monday finding the 75-pound cub dumped at a roundabout near the Catamount statue at the entrance to campus.

Johnson said it appeared the bear cub had been shot in the head, and that two Obama signs had been stapled together and stuck over the animal's head. Johnson was not available for further comment Monday evening.

University police called in state Wildlife Resources officials to remove the body and help in the investigation.

Bear season is under way in western North Carolina.

U.S. gives Iraq $13 million to fix looted museum

BAGHDAD, Oct. 20, 2008 (Reuters) — The U.S. government has announced a $13 million grant mainly to help refurbish Iraq's National Museum which was looted in the aftermath of the U.S.-led invasion in 2003, U.S. officials said Monday.

U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs Goli Ameri announced the project at a news conference with Iraqi officials, held inside the dilapidated museum building which is still closed to the public.

Iraq's archaeological heritage is among the richest in the world, including treasures from thousands of years of civilization in ancient Mesopotamia, much of it housed at the National Museum in Baghdad.

U.S. forces came under widespread criticism in the immediate aftermath of the invasion for failing to prevent the looting of priceless relics from the museum, even while troops were dispatched to secure other sites such as the Oil Ministry.

"This is an investment not only in Iraq's heritage but in the world's heritage," the U.S. ambassador in Iraq, Ryan Crocker, said. The money will be used for archaeology and museum training projects as well as the restoration of the museum.

More than 15,000 artefacts went missing from the museum during the looting, about 6,000 of which have been returned.

Shiites: Modify U.S.-Iraq pact

BAGHDAD (AP) — Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's ruling Shiite coalition withheld support Sunday for the proposed security pact that would keep U.S. troops here for three more years, dealing a setback to American hopes of a speedy approval of the agreement.

The statement by the United Iraqi Alliance called for unspecified changes to the draft agreement, which parliament must ratify by the end of the year when the U.N. mandate expires.

The group's move comes a day after tens of thousands of demonstrators, mostly Shiites, took to the streets of Baghdad to show their opposition to the agreement.

The Shiite alliance holds 85 of parliament's 275 seats and al-Maliki needs its solid support to win approval of the agreement by a strong majority.

The 30 lawmakers loyal to anti-American Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr have already said they will vote against the agreement, and some Sunni lawmakers have spoken out against it too.
