Obama...Where is My 30 Percent MORTGAGE DISCOUNT?

In the latest news from the White House, it is being hinted at that millions of Americans who saw their homes slide into foreclosure could have the government (with our tax dollars) buy their homes back for them from the bank/lending institute at greatly discounted price (30 percent discount is being tossed around), and then negotiate out low interest 30 year loans so that these families can keep their homes. Now here is my question on this proposal.

We have played by the rules, made all our house payments. Despite this playing by the rules, we have seen (because of the mortgage crisis) the value of our home plummet, and we are currently paying mortgage payments 2.5-3 points higher than the mortgage interest these people in foreclosure would be paying under Obama's new plan. Where is the fairness in that? Why should I and others like me have to keep paying a mortgage at full original price, and at a much higher rate of interest while those that caused its value to plummet get a greatly discounted deal courtesy of my taxes, and GET A GREATLY REDUCED INTEREST rate on top of it all that will be made possible because of my taxes.

Does Obama really see this as fair? This takes those who were behind us in the proverbial food line if you will, and puts them WAY AHEAD OF US! Such a move makes us slaves to our now over valued homes and the mortgages on them, or forces us to just walk away from them...is that what you want Mr. Obama?

Why Middle America Should Just Say No To Bailout and Stimulus Packages

The more I see of Washington, the more I see of the Obama Bailout and Stimulus plans, the more I am convinced that President Obama and our National Government have no clue, the more I am convinced that they have no compassion for the average American who is being screwed royally as our economy crashes and burns. The more I see, the more I am convinced that the time has come for Middle Class American to take to the streets, the more I am convinced that we must use whatever force is necessary to take back our lives, our jobs and our American Dreams from those that are trying to steal them, and that includes every Politicians in Washington, DC and every illegal aliens residing/working within the borders of the United States of America.

Perhaps someone from the White House can explain to me why it is that my taxes should be used to bailout banks bad investments, why I should support a plan that would buy up Wall Streets bad paper when it is thier actions that have cost my wife and I over $100,000 in lost equity in our home, thus leaving us in an upside down mortgage? Perhaps Obama could explain to me why it is that I and others in the Middle Class have to accept our share of a Federal Bailout to the tune of trillions of dollars when, through no fault of our own we have seen our own retirement plans and 401 K's drop hundreds of thousands of dollars in value because of illegal activity on the part of Wall Street, and America's banking system....where is our bailout, and where are the criminal prosecutions of these rich elitists who broke our laws, stole our dreams? Your PALTRY $1,000 tax deduction when it is the government's failure to regulate to do its job that has cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars of our life nest egg is a REPUGNANT INSULT....take your rebates and tax breaks and stick them up your collective asses! Stop trying to march out before the people saying you are ON OUR SIDE...you are not on our side, and your desire to coddle ILLEGAL ALIEN SCUM proves that....who the fuck do you think you are when you intend of thwarting the will of the people in pursuing an Amnesty for 12 -25 million illegal alien criminals? Who do you think you are in supporting MORE H1 Visa's in the name of the National Chamber of Commerce and CHEAP WAGES?

There is talk about screwing us Boomers out of our Social Security because the system is BROKEN....with all due respect, this year alone (counting the matching donation from our employer on our behalf) my wife and I have put more than $11,000 into the Social Security System, have done so for years...WHAT HAS WASHINGTON DONE WITH OUR MONEY, when is Washington going to REPAY the IOU's in the Social Security Account for money wrongfully borrowed and used for decades now?

Don't tell us when we have paid into the system for over three decades now that we should be willing to accept the reality that Social Security will not be there for us, or if it is there for us, we will get less than half of what we are supposed to recieve in the name of preserving the system for future generations...SCREW YOUR TALK ABOUT FUTURE GENERATIONS....we have sacrificed our whole lives, and now you want us to live out our retirement years in abject poverty for FUTURE GENERATIONS...sorry, but FUCK YOU, FUCK THE DEMOCRATS, FUCK THE REPUBLICANS, and FUCK THE CORRUPTION THAT IS WASHINGTON DC, and FUCK THOSE FUTURE GENERATIONS...with Affirmative Action and various other Federal Mandates that always saw people like me asked to sacrifice for a larger societal goal, I am TIRED OF WAITING...it is my/our turn now, and all your talk of us pulling up our bootstraps and digging in so that those following in our footsteps can have a better life is HORSE SHIT. You want to KEEP PEOPLE IN THEIR HOMES, but at WHAT COST TO THOSE OF US THAT PLAYED BY THE RULES? Their buying houses they could not afford, idiot banks lending them the money to do so have cost us EVERY PENNY OF EQUITY WE HAD IN OUR HOME, we are now in an upside down mortgage....yet, where is OUR FUCKING BAILOUT MR. PRESIDENT.

I would STRONGLY SUGGEST that you Mr. Obama stop playing games, would suggest you come before the American people ASAP and explain what it is you are going to do to make those of us in the Middle Class who have played by the rules our entire lives WHOLE AGAIN. Explain to us why we should accept AMNESTY for 12-25 million illegal aliens, why we should respect your belief that they should be allowed to keep their jobs when 5 million of us have lost our jobs, explain to us why you are KILLING E VERIFY in the name of scum sucking criminal illegal alien scab laborers that have depressed our wage base here in the middle class, stolen jobs that belong to us and our children. In a move that has stunned her radical right wing, pro life conservative wing nut supporters, Sarah Palin of fleeting fame has dropped out of CPAC, will not be making her promised appearance at the event...probably out of fear she would not have placed well in the straw poll contest to pick a 2012 Presidential nominee for the Republican Ticket. The political whack job from Alaska of Troopergate Shame who has ZERO CHANCE at a successful White House run, and who may have seen her last win in a major political race when she became governor has seen her political stock tumble since Americans saw THE TRUE PALIN when she was McCain's running mate this past fall. Fake values, poor job of raising children who are now having children out of wedlock themselves, and putting her job before her downs syndrome child make her a poor choice as a role model, but the rabid religious right desparate for any one that can keep their radical agenda in the news have been propping the Radical Pentacostal woman up, doing everything in their power to keep her fleeting fame alive...this stunning cancellation may be the beginning of the end for the Sarah Palin show and the sooner she goes back to eating Moose meat off of paper plates, the better off we here in the main body of America will be.

Palin won't be making CPAC appearance

Palin will not be attending this year’s CPAC, confirm organizers.

(CNN) — Sarah Palin will not be attending the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington later this month, her office confirmed to CNN Tuesday.

The Alaska governor had been expected to serve as the headline attraction at the three day event, which is also scheduled to include conservative icons like Newt Gingrich, Rush Limbaugh, and Ann Coulter. The presidential straw poll conducted at the annual Washington gathering is widely viewed as a reliable bellwether of conservative support. Several of the GOP’s past — and potentially future — presidential hopefuls are also slated to address the gathering, including Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney and Ron Paul.

Looking at my stats today, got a chuckle to see there is a whole contingent of folks already working to see Sarah "the bitch" Palin named as the Republican Party Presidential Candidate in 2012. Seems Sarah has her own PAC, and a group of Tards for Sarah that call themselves Team Sarah...HOW ORIGINAL...wonder who the brain trust was/is behind that one? (Karl Rove?) Anyway, since they seem to be keeping an eye on us here at Washington Scandal (Sarah has publically stated SHE HATES BLOGGERS), thought we would give our readers a link to their efforts...if nothing else, its a great resource to keep tabs on "The Sarah". Green Jobs That Pay A Living Wage

This post is compliments of my newest Blogging Effort, Green White House, where OBama's promise of a new Green Economy is graded, discussed and written about. He said in Elkhart Indiana today that Americans need a Living Wage...well, what is a living wage, and once you know what a living wage is, where is Congress in MANDATING IT? Green White House has thrown out some food for thought on this subject, and it is my hope that some of you will add to the discussion in the comments section here or over there.

Defining Living Wage Is Key To a Green Economy

In Saturday's post it was pointed out to Mr, Obama that Green Jobs are not exactly at the top of the pay scale, are not the kind of jobs people are going to want to fill...low pay and few if any benefits are not the model for a paradigm shift in the American Work Force to a Green Economy, which is what is needed to fully address Global Warming. If Obama is going to create 3-4 million GREEN JOBS, shouldn't we first define what a living wage should be?

We do not need three to four million poor paying McDonanld's type jobs with poor benefits, we need three to four million jobs that a person can support a family with...where is our Federal Government in their efforts too SAVE OUR ECONOMY, in doing the necessary homework to make sure they are creating the right kind of jobs, rather than simply throwing money at companies and hoping they will do the right thing by Ameriuca's work force.

Doing some thinking on the subject, and based on both adults in the family working full time, I would suggest the following components as part of a living wage:

1. Sick Leave-one day acrued for each month of employment, with a maximum cap of 120 days of accrued sick leave. (These days can be used because the employee is sick, or a member of their family is sick and needs personal care.)

2. Paid Holidays-Christmas, New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day,Thanksgiving to be combined with four personal holidays for a total of ten days per year.

3. Paid major medical coverage that includes dental, eye care and a reduced prescription plan.

4. Minimum of two weeks paid vacation per year with a guaranteed climb to four weeks paid vacation with five years of seniority with the company.

5. Looking at the various costs incurred by a AVERAGE FAMILY of four including utilities, mortgage and even our taxes at all levels of government, the average family needs to earn $60,000 a year to live a relatively comfortable lifestyle and cover their bases. That comes out to a gross income of $30,000 per year per adult in the family. To make a long storty short, a Minimum Wage on a National Basis of $11.50 per hour could attain this goal of a living wage with a bit of a cushion to spare.

The Federal Government, our elected members of Congress could make this goal a reality passing a Living Wage Bill, a new workers Bill of Rights. The time has come to do right by America's MAjority, the backbone that has built this nation from the ground up, the true creators of all that wealth selfishly held by the UBER RICH.

So, Mr. Obama and his family are feeling a bit of cabin fever after two weeks in the White House, have decided to get onto Marine One and flit over to Camp David for the weekend because they feel CLOSED IN living in a 55,000 ssquare foot home on 15 acres of land in Washington, DC! What is wrong with this picture...meanwhile, Glenn Beck did a very good job of reminding us that Mr. Obama seems to be leading us down a bit of a side road towards socialism that could at any minute make a left hand turn onto Communist Avenue.

Upon return to Washington and the White House he will again take a heliocopter to his plane where he will fly to three different states next week, spending part of his time in a third house, his home in Chicago. Is this Mr. Obama's idea of sacrificing for a cleaner environment, his idea of learning to live greener...OH, did we forget to mention his TURNING THE HEAT UP in the Oval Office so he and his staff could wear short sleeves? Here is a CLUE Mr. FAKE GREEN PRESIDENT...do not ask us as Americans to sacrifice, to turn down our thermostats, to drive less when you cannot curtail such egregiously NON GREEN ACTIVITIES for yourself and your family while living in the White House.

Palin presses Obama on pipeline

In a letter to the president, the former vice presidential candidate urges Obama to discuss the construction of an Alaska natural gas pipeline when he sits down with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

(CNN) – Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin made a special appeal to President Obama Friday, asking him to keep her state in mind when he travels to Canada in two weeks.

In a letter to the president, the former vice presidential candidate urges Obama to discuss the construction of an Alaska natural gas pipeline when he sits down with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

“Alaskans have appreciated your strong support for the construction of such a pipeline," Palin wrote. "This project is now moving forward, and I believe that a discussion between you and Prime Minister Harper would greatly facilitate the process now under way.”

The pipeline, currently in planning stages, could reportedly generate thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in revenue for the state. Obama expressed support for the project during the campaign.

Return From The Dead...

Greetings Readers:

Between my wife's surgical issues, her recovery, and my own attempts to give up cigarettes, was simply not up to keeping up with my various and assorted blogs for the past couple of months while I went through transition. Some quick personal updates:

1. Wife's surgery went well (she had all her female parts removed) and her recovery though long has gone well and she returned to work this past Monday.

2. On a related track, we got her six month post breast cancer surgery and radiation treatment report in December, and am pleased to announce she is cancer free.

3. In three short days (February 9th) both my wife and I will have been smoke free for FOUR MONTHS! Not out of the woods yet, but feeling pretty good here, and almost ready to say I am no longer a smoker...yes, still afraid of a relapse here.

Some quick remarks on the news...

Seems that the Great Pork Barrel Stimulus package is going to make it through the Senate...who cares, it will DO NOTHING for those of us in the middle class.

Americans on Main Street have lost 3.6 million jobs since the start of the recession we are in right now...to put that in perspective, there are still over eight million illegal aliens unlawfully holding down jobs in our truobled economy...meanwhile, Obama was to grant these criminals AMNESTY!

Sarah WAH-WAH Palin has gone on record as hating bloggers...do we really give a flying rats ass what Sarah thinks about us?

Anyway, its good to be back, and look for a more rapid upload of my views on the news that matters in the coming days as weeks.

Post Thanksgiving Updates

Greetings Readers:

Do apologize for the absense, but Thanksgiving is one of my/our favorite holidays, and as upsetting as the terrorists attacks in India were, was not about to intrude on family time to blog about it. My approach to terrorists and terrorism is (to quote Mr. Natural) plain and to the point...I hold moderate Muslims accountable, believe they are failing to police their own, so I would bomb a Mosque every time Radical Islamic Muslim terrorists strike anywhere in the world...call it TOUGH LOVE, but I believe it would not take long for the supposed moderates to bring their own radical fringe into line.

As to Obama and his transition efforts...WHERE IS THE CHANGE? Further, am more than a bit upset with his Pro-BIG BUSINESS, Pro Illegal Alien, Anti American Middle Class Cabinet that he is putting together...if he thinks Main Street Americans will take AMNESTY for Illegal Aliens, he is sadly mistaken.

On the Chambliss win...WHO CARES? The pundits are acting as if America has now sent Obama a message to govern from the center...HORSE FUCKING SHIT...Georgia, a redneck, rabid right wing Southern Red state did what they usually do...send a Republican to the Senate. That is not a message from America for Obama to govern from the center.

The up, down and sideways stockmarket...screw the day traders and money whores, and jump in while the bargains abound...in five years you will be glad you did, as the market over the long haul is ALWAYS a winner...to those Boomers who were right on the verge on retiring...WHOOPS, you got caught by the short hairs. To those in the 65 and over AARP group that are whining...get over it, it was/is your GREED that kept us from salvaging Social Security affordably because you were unwilling to share equally in the bailout...I have no sympathy for any of you, only anger and resentment that you have been spending MY GENERATIONS payments into the fund.

Under Who Cares...Mexico Social Welfare System Collapsing With Deportations

Under who cares...seems that Mexico's Senate is getting worried that their Social Welfare system is collapsing...why it is collapsing? Between deportations and a shrinking job market for illegal aliens here in America it seems that remittances from illegal aliens in America are rapidly shrinking. Now I am curious here...am I the only one that finds it disturbing that Mexico factors into their Social Safety Net for their most unfortunate citizens remittances from their illegal aliens here in America? President Calderon really needs to get a V-8, and Mexico needs to learn that America is not their FEDERAL WELFARE PROGRAM. We need more deportations, and Calderon needs to take care of his own citizens, rather than using America as his nation's dumping ground. Help put and American back to work...deport and illegal alien today.

Drop in remittances from Mexicans living in the United States threatens Mexico's social welfare in some areas

[The increasing return of its migrants from the US is beginning to catch Mexico's media attention.]
- According to the Mexican National Institute of Migration, between the beginning of 2006 and August, 2008, some 1.5 million of their countrymen were deported from the US.

Contributing to this trend, the total for 2008 could reach 600,000. In addition to these numbers, many are returning because of the financial and employment situation in the US. Those remaining are sending less money home. Mexico's social welfare is threatened by the drop in remittances received in economically marginal areas according to elected officials who call for a "rescue fund" of 1.8 billion pesos to be included in the 2009 budget.

The decrease in income from their US migrants "can convulse half the country," warned one of the representatives. Another pointed out that the recovery program would provide support for those who remain in the US where whatever they might have there would be more than what they would find in their home communities. The state and federal governments are not coordinated to face the wave of migrants remaining unemployed in the US and there is no plan in place, according to the Mexican Senate's head of the revenue commission. "The situation is worrisome because, at the moment, we haven't established an emergency program regarding people who are returning," he stated.

America's Main Street wrokers to to be screaming outrage from their rooftops as it is obvious that Barack (Calderon's Butt Buddy) Obama plans on making Amnesty for 12-25 million illegal alien criminals a priority. We need 10 Million Main Street Americans traveling to the inauguration, standing on the Mall raising their voices in unison, letting Obama know that we will not tolerate AMNESTY under the guise of a pathway to citizenship.

Mexico's Calderon Threatens Obama With Tsuanmi of Illegal Aliens...Time To Militarize Our Southern Border?

Mexican President Calderon has threatened President Elect Obama while at the APEC event. He came right out and said America will face a flood of Illegal Aliens if Obama messes with trade, tries to change NAFTA. WTF? When are we going to spit in the face of this buffoon and show him we mean business by putting 20,000 or so military troops on our Southern Border to shut down the illegal drug trade, and stop Illegal Immigration from Mexico once and for all...you had best learn Mr. Calderon that you are treading on thin water...many Americans would have no problems massing our troops on the border with Mexico, giving said troops the right to use whatever it takes to stop both drug dealers, and illegal aliens, and if that means deadly force, so be it. Who the fuck do you think you are threatening an incoming president?

Calderon's Threat:

And Mexican President Felipe Calderon, in an impassioned speech to delegates at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum on Saturday, warned Obama that any tightening of trade restrictions would send a flood of illegal immigrants into the United States.

"The next U.S. administration must assume leadership in a very firm manner--not just for Americans but for the whole world," Calderon said.

The stern words for Obama came during an annual APEC gathering dominated by fears over the ongoing financial crisis, and underscored the difficult balance that Obama must strike if he intends to forge a new economic path for the United States.

All Politics Is Local...Adolfo Carrión Jr. A Member of President Obama's Cabinet

Well well well...seems that Obama is picking someone local, someone I know something about as a member of his cabinet...one Adolfo Carrión Jr. of the Bronx. I know him as much as your average Joe can know any politician. From my position, Carrion is a man that likes being important...we'll leave it at that. He's a pick that La Raza would endorse...again, we'll leave it at that. He's a man that would be very supportive of the rights of illegal aliens...again, we'll leave it at that. In short, this is not a pick I would endorse, and from my perspective, Obama seems bent on pushing an AMNESTY driven agenda, and in that I believe he might throw America into civil war fought on the streets of Blue Collar America in a us verse them battle for the American Dream. (one note...have to wonder if this is not a Bloomberg encouraged pick to keep Carrion from running for Mayor in 2009.)
