Found and interesting small article over on the PXY 106 web site on the whole Sarah Palin Troopergate story. It clearly shows you how the McCain Campaign handlers for loose cannon Sarah Palin are trying to spin her guilt. Two sentences tell it all:
1. "If you read the report, you will see that there was nothing unlawful or unethical about replacing a Cabinet member," Palin said.
This is not exactly what the report says, but we'll give it to her. The investigator did say that a MAJOR contributing cause of Monehan's termination was his refusal to terminate Mike Wooten. So technically, Sarah Palin did not break the law here...she just showed us that she is a mean spirited vindictive bitch.
2. CNN said attorneys representing Palin contend such violations are only applicable to financial motives.
If you disagree with a law, or if it could snare your client, disagree with its interpretation, thus setting up a fight that could only be resolved with a trip to the Supreme Court...we all know that is not going to happen, and so do Sarah Palin's handlers. She is trying to slice the apple differently, reshape reality, and distract you with a classic bait and switch red herring. Bottom line is clear to any one that has two brain cells too rub together. Sarah Palin violated Alaska laws and statutes, committed the most egregious of Ethics Violations, "Abuse of Power".
