We regret to inform Main Street America that Christmas 2008 has been officially cancelled. Due to the recent devaluation of Main Street home values as a result of greed and corruption on Wall Street, coupled with our government's rewarding this criminal behavior with a $800 Billion dollar bailout of the UBER RICH's financial holdings are the major factors in this Presidential Decision. In cancelling this end of the year holiday, President George W. Bush, after careful consideration with the Secretary of the Treasury, Mr. Paulson has determined that it would be fiscally irresponsible for the citizens paying for this bailout to frivilously celebrate Christmas in an orgy of unchecked spending on gifts and feasts.
